"Have you seen Alex?" He asked.

Eveline noticed fear in his tone and asked, "No, what happened?"

Gabriel, who was assigned to assist Dr. Lilith, discovered Alex's absence. It was his turn, but the boy wasn't there.

"Do you think he ran off learning about Dr. Lilith?" she inquired, jumping to one conclusion.
