The lecture was yet to begin, but Eveline's thoughts were occupied with reliving the moment she had spent with Gabriel the previous evening. She still could not get rid of the sensation of Gabriel's lips on her and the intense heat her body experienced at that mere moment.
Eveline told herself to forget it but no matter what she said, her memories wouldn't erase the image of Gabriel's pleading eyes begging her to stay.
Gabriel was showing her his feelings, which was unusual, but she could not help but notice that everything sounded genuine and authentic.
"Should I wait for Dad to get back?" Eveline was having second thoughts concerning Gabriel's request. However, she was unable to allow herself to become weak since he was once again making her heart lean toward him.
