Chapter 36: Little secret

Eveline gulped at the sight of the piercing eyes glaring at her, demanding an explanation.

Gabriel had dragged her out of the computer lab after he realized what Eveline was up to and now he wanted to know everything about the things she had been hiding from him.

Eveline drew in a deep breath and asked, "Why should I-?" as she fidgeted nervously behind her back.

Despite her immediate fear for Gabriel, she made an effort to appear brave. She had to keep this a secret from everyone; Stefan was the one who taught her all the tricks, so only he knew that she was an expert computer user.

It was nothing to slither into someone's account, but before she could log out, Gabriel appeared out of nowhere, finding her secret.

"I am not going to say it again, Eveline. "I demand an explanation," Gabriel interrupted her before she could finish her sentence.
