Chapter 27: Punishment

"Can you shut that greedy mouth of yours? Your son already considers Eveline his sister. There is no way they are missing any chance," Richard corrected, glaring at Marcus, who was biting his lip to keep from laughing.

It looks like Marcus is attempting to pull Richard's leg. Did you forget that he had already bestowed his blessings upon the children?" Belle said, nudging her irate spouse.

Eveline had always been loved by both Marcus and Richard. She was the only girl born among the boys and instantly managed to capture everyone's heart.

"Marcus, how about you plan another baby? Your tools must still be in good operating order." Jonathan proposed making Marcus blush with shame.

"Don't ever talk about having another baby in front of my wife. She is going to undoubtedly disown me from her husband's title." Marcus warned.
