Daniel was genuinely astonishment because the person who had sent the six hundred million was Erwin, seated across from him. This completely exceeded his expectations.
"Bro, are you serious?" Daniel asked, eyes widening in disbelief.
"Serious, I told you I won the lottery," Erwin reiterated.
"Sorry, I got too exited! How much did you win?" Daniel inquired eagerly.
"Not much, just a billion!" Erwin tossed the figure nonchalantly, not daring to divulge his true, unlimited net worth for fear of shocking Daniel to the death.
"A billion's still a lot, who knew you'd get dumped but win the lottery! Come on, let's drink our fill." Daniel jovially raised his beer glass, inviting Erwin to join in the toast.
With this six hundred million, his girlfriend Agnes could finally undergo the surgery, and the weight that been pressing on his heart could at last be relieved for the moment.
"Bro, consider this six hundred million a loan from you, I'll repay it once I have the money," Daniel maintained his principal. Even if Erwin was his best friend, money was money, and love was love.
"No rush!" Erwin said smilingly, because for the current Erwin six hundred million was truly insignificant.
They chatted briefly, and something else seemed to come to Daniel's mind.
"By the way, there is a class reunion this weekend, and your ex-girlfriend Rose is going too, are you planning to attend!"
"Going, of course, why not?"Erwin also knew about his classmates discussing the reunion earlier, but he had been unemployed then, so he had been indifferent to it out of embarrassment. But now that his true identity was known, he would definitely attend.

Erwin now looked forward to meeting his fiancee, Rina, more than anyone else; compared to her, no other woman could match in looks or wealth background.
After parting with Daniel, the satiated Erwin, hauling two large suitcase, prepared to move to the Crown villa at Oak Bay.
After hailing a taxi with his phone, he took his belongings and headed straight for Oak Bay.
