Behind the bushes some distance away, Ryder's alerted black eyes scanned the area and the Goblin Village up ahead after passing through the group of people perceived to be from the unnamed village abandoned by the Venerable Sky Clan, which was mentioned from the Awakener's Guild Commission.
Ryder did not approach them, instead, after some pondering, he decided to go first undetected knowing his way around the Erindem Forest. Of course, it was with a reason and not on a whim.
'Okay, let's go.' Ryder thought to himself before rushing forward as his hands tightly grasped a katana emanating serene greyish Qi.

Swift and sophisticated, serene yet deadly, Ryder cut through the bodies and heads of the green-skinned goblins guarding the wooden gates of the dilapidated village.

"Why are you backing off? Come here, you motherfuckers!" Inexplicably elated, Ryder pushed forward and ended the unworthy goblins in his way. He relentlessly swung the high-ranked weapon [Moonfell Crescent] conjured by one of the twenty-one Lust Gacha Boxes blessed by the Goddess of Identity.
'I guess I belong to that kind of character, huh…?' He added in his mind.
Being holed up in his single apartment for who knows how long, Ryder seemed to have read all kinds of characters found in webnovels, and if there's one thing that he realized, especially for those who 'transmigrated,' it was that everyone possessed a unique psychological mechanism.
Being a person from the modern world that tearing itself apart, some remained truly righteous when thrown into another world with different and twisted laws. It was a crescent strike, serene yet with no trace of empathy that aimed to shake the composure of the attackers, in this case, the monsters. Subsequently, the [Moonfell Crescent]'s illusory blades cut through the chest and hearts of the goblins. It was as though the air transformed into a dangerous mist shaped into a crescent moon that could slice one's life into oblivion.

With a posture of around five feet tall, the green-skinned humanoid hobgoblin, which was the evolution of a goblin, screeched in madness as it held a crude battle axe tainted with blood ready to mutilate the intruder.

In that instant, Ryder disappeared from his spot, leaving an afterimage due to the swiftness and quietness of his movement.
Appearing above and behind the maddened hobgoblin, the silver katana emanating a greyish Qi diagonally cleaved down to cut the monster's head.

The chief of the village was utterly helpless as its body knelt towards its worthy death.

Scattered throughout the makeshift battlefield was the litter of goblin corpses, waiting for their executioner to send their already lifeless bodies to rest. At the chest of every monster, a glowing cube was glimmering under the dawn of the morning.
