Chapter 194: Chapter 194 She's Pregnant

Elijah carried Emily to her chamber in the bedroom. Dr. Court arrived soon after, and examined Emily with an air of delicacy.

"Ms. Emily, Have you had your period this month? " The doctor asked.

Emily lay on the bed and shook her head feebly.

"And did you get your period last month?"

Emily shook her head again.

"Do you remember the last time you had your period? " the doctor continued to ask.

It seemed to Emily, as she pondered, that she had not had a period since she awoke, and she could not remember exactly when her last period had been.

" I don't remember." Emily replied.

" What's wrong with her?" Elijah asked in a low voice as he stood by, " Is she poisoned?"

" Ms. Emily shows no signs of poisoning. Your Majesty." said the doctor, respectfully.

" Then why is she vomiting?" Elijah's brow was furrowed, and his eyes were full of doubt and concern.

" She should be pregnant." The doctor replied.
