Emily froze. She knew this was not going to be a good thing. He had forgotten about her for so many years, and suddenly he summoned her for something else.
She was dead to him now!
"I would never marry anyone other than my mate." Emily loudly refused.
"I'm not asking for your opinion," Alpha Robert exclaimed. "That's an order."
"I'd rather be expelled than marry any Alpha Klaus." Emily yelled.
"How dare you talk to me like that?" Alpha Robert stood up and slapped Emily so hard that it was far more powerful than Emily had imagined.
Emily fell to the ground, glaring angrily at her alleged father.
"Honey, leave this matter to me." Luna Katherine stood up, her hand gently placed on Alpha Robert's shoulder. "Don't forget you have a video conference in a few minutes."
"Are you sure you can handle it?"
"Of course," Luna Katherine said.
Alpha Robert glared at Emily, and as soon as Alpha Robert left the room, Luna Katherine gave Nancy a look. A minute later, Nancy summoned two Alpha fighters.
Luna Katherine sat upright in her chair and said to Emily, "It's time to give you a taste of what's coming."
An Alpha warrior lunged at Emily, while another Alpha warrior stabbed Emily directly in the waist with an electric baton. She was held down until she couldn't move, and as the intense electricity struck her body, she trembled and quickly lost consciousness.
When she regained consciousness, she found herself chained hand and foot.
"Listen," Luna Katherine sat in front of her, lifting Emily's chin with a whip in her hand. "You're going to marry Alpha Klaus, whether you want to or not. If you don't marry him, all your friends in the country, including Mrs. Bauer, who takes care of you, will be killed."
Emily tried to speak, only to find that her throat had lost its voice.
Luna Katherine sensed this and sneered, saying, "Just to prevent you from talking nonsense, I had someone give you a little medicine to drink. It's a small punishment for you."
Emily's eyes widened. What had Luna Katherine done to her?
"Now do you know what you're supposed to do?"
Emily struggled, and the next second she was kicked hard by Luna Katherine.
"Her wolf is strong," Nancy whispered in Luna Katherine's ear. "We should take some precautions to prevent her from escaping."
"You're right," Luna Katherine glanced at Emily with a cold gaze. "Besides, if she didn't have a wolf, she wouldn't have met her mate, thus stabilizing this marriage."
Emily struggled desperately, but the two Alpha warriors held her firmly to the ground. She watched as Nancy inserted the needle into her vein, and she saw the yellow fluid in the clear tube slowly diminishing.
Pain shot through her like lightning; something was being dissolved from her body, choking her in its agony.
When she slipped back into a coma, two Alpha warriors dragged her out.
"Will she obediently go to the north to get married?" Gina, who had been watching, asked her mother.
"Of course, she will," Luna Katherine said. "Nancy will personally send her north and ensure the wedding takes place."
"Great," Gina said happily. "I finally don't have to marry in the North. It's said that Alpha Klaus is not only blind in one eye, he doesn't even have a tribe."
"How could I let my darling marry that kind of person?" Luna Katherine said to her daughter. "I'm going to throw you a birthday party next month, and I'm going to invite all the unmarried Alphas to the party. I'm sure you'll find the best mate."
"I can't wait," Gina said, her mind filled with visions of the future.
That's when Nancy entered the room and reported to Luna Katherine, "Everything is ready. We'll leave tonight."
"Good," Luna Katherine smiled grimly.
.........
When Emily awoke, she realized that her arms and legs were chained and that her throat was tingling as if it were on fire.
A snarl reached Emily's ears, and she looked around warily. It was not her father's house, it was the cabin of an aeroplane.
She remembered that her father and stepmother had asked her to marry Alpha Klaus, and that they had given her something to drink that made her speechless.
Damn it, where was her wolf?
Emily mentally called out her wolf's name, but her wolf gave her no answer, and Emily was in agony.
She had lost her wolf.
"You awake? Little thing. "A woman's cold, malicious voice came from behind Emily.
Emily saw that the woman before her was no other than Nancy. She went up to Emily with a sneer. She glanced at Emily's withered, cracked lips.
"Would you like something to drink?" Nancy said, as she opened a bottle of mineral water and poured it straight over Emily's head.
As the cold water ran down Emily's hair, her eyes were fixed hard on Nancy, and she ground her teeth and hated the woman before her.
"Too bad you can't even drink water." Nancy threw the mineral water bottle directly on the ground, she cupped Emily's chin with her hand, then said to Emily in a warning tone, "Listen, you little brute. The plane leaves in five minutes, and the fact that you're marrying the Alpha Klaus of the North can't be changed, so if you don't want to be punished, stay put, or I'll make you suffer more than death."
Emily spat in Nancy's face and swore that she would have punched Nancy hard if her hands and feet had not been chained.
"Looks like you didn't even remember what I said." Nancy wiped the spit from her face and turned her back upon Emily.
At that moment the plane rocked, and Emily, looking through the window, saw the plane slowly rise. No, no, she did not want to go north.
She struggled and tried to break her bonds. At that moment Nancy turned with a black electric stick in her hand, and she turned the voltage up to its highest setting.
"You should learn how to be quiet." Nancy smiled grimly as she drove the electric baton straight into Emily's body.
