After Draco's birthday we decided to hold back our magical education so we can learn how to make magical focuses. We didn't stop teaching Draco but rather slowed down our own education. It was one day, while we were at the Malfoy manor, that we had come across something on accident. I don't know how we hadn't come across it before, but it might have something to do about it being our first proper duel.
Aisha and I had decided to have a duel with Lucius and Draco watching. We were casting pure magic at each other like 'Magic Missile', it had no innate element to it just magic with the intent to bruise and nothing more, when Aisha decided to get fancy.
I casted a volley of 5 missiles that had a dark blue hue to it. Aisha had rolled out of the way of the first two missiles, used her finger with a shield around it to catch the third one and redirect it into the fourth one, just barely missing it but still changing its course to just barely graze her, and with the last one coming strait for her chest she casted her own missile into it, hers having more of a light blue hue.
When the two spells collided everyone expected them to just disperse like how most spells would. Instead when they collided we felt the magic in the air thicken, the missiles glow brighter, and when we activated our mana sense Aisha saw a sun made of two magics that were bouncing back and forth, like water when a lot of large rocks are dropped in and it causes waves but the waves hit another body of water transferring the waves and amplifying them, then those new waves hitting the old body of water and transferring back amplified more, but never stopping.
When I activated my Magic sense I heard it and saw it, the magic acting like an orchestra starting with two instruments, then four, then eight, doubling into a song like no other with more and more instruments. Until one plays an offkey, then another, and another, until it sounds more like random strings of sound. It started to get overwhelming, it didn't hurt or anything, there were just so many sounds even though my mind couldn't be overwhelmed doesn't mean that my ear can't, they had no way to interpret all of the noise going on at once.
Out side of mana sense the colliding two spells had gained color or lack there of, one became pure white while the other a pitch black. With flashes of lightning coming off the ball of conflicting mana, the wind started to blow and condense around the orb, becoming visible in the courtyard. One half of the courtyard started to die, while the other half started to rapidly grow, in a circle that was slowly growing.
It had all ended when all of the sudden there was a flash of light, both black and white, then a pillar of light, half black and half white, shot up into the air parting the clouds and severing the sky. Then all was quiet.
Lucius had a blank look as he stared at the sky, Draco's mouth wide open in an imitation of a fish, while Aisha and I had similar looks of aw, confusion, and excitement. After all we had just accidentally parted the sky. As we all looked at the sky to see the area where the pillar had shot into the sky, was the moon and stars where the sun should be.
It wouldn't be until much later on in this story that we learned what had really happened that fateful noon.
"What the bloody fucking hell just happened." Narcissa cursed at us with worry all over her face as she walked out onto the courtyard. When she didn't get an answer she looked to where we were looking to see the day turned into night over Malfoy manor, and just Malfoy manor.
"I don't know. I don't know if I just witnessed the birth of a god, of two gods, or just a magical phenomenon." Lucius spoke in a whisper, almost fearful of if he might anger some god or gods.
I took a look at the 'AR' to see what the Gods were saying, and to Quote the 'AR'
'AR'-'The gods laugh at you two and the Malfoys. The Malfoys because of the look on their faces, and you because only the 'Moirai Twins' would do the impossible on accident.'
I started to try and figure out what happened and found out that it was something called mana convergence. It is a phenomenon that occurs when two opposite natures clash, but the spells have similar magical signatures. Similar but not the same, so the only case that 'Mana Convergence' can occur is when a pair of twins cast spells, they have opposing natures, and they collide.
After I found out what just occurred I was confused, it was possible to have 'Mana Convergence' occur if difficult, so why were the gods saying it was impossible. Then it occurred to me they weren't referring to the 'Mana Convergence', they were referring to the night sky during day. And for the life of me I could not figure it out. Not for a lack of trying either I tried to find it in the 'AR' but it wouldn't tell me, almost like there was a block on it or that it was classified.
That truly terrified me, because that told me what we did had never been done before. Aisha and I had truly done the impossible, something not even the Universe recognizes. We didn't talk about that day for a while until it was time to craft our magical focus.
It was October the night of Hallows eve and the sun was starting to set. I was checking to make sure that we had all that we needed, we had the foundry, the molds, the tools, the gold, and the silver, we had everything and now it was time to start.
"You ready?" I asked Aisha.
"Yes" She replied with a determined look in her eyes.
We started by melting the gold down, molten gold adding one of Aisha's feathers . The gold turned brighter like it was giving off a white glow, then we pored it into the mold and once it was cold we broke open the mold to find the ear ring and put the other pieces together. It would wrap around the ear and be anchored by the top of the ear and the ear lobe, the whole bit was full of branches and leaves that covered the back of the ear, then a sun hung from that with a hole in the middle for a gem.
then we began on the silver, melting it and once it was I let my physical form go and turned into my shade and I let the shadows melt into the silver. It gave the silver a dark glow similar to the gold, and once it was cooled the shape was similar to the gold one where it anchored from the top of the ear and the ear lobe, but the pattern on the back was of swirls and stars, and instead of the sun it was a crescent moon
We then laid the earrings down in-front of us, I had the sun and Aisha had the moon. Then we started to meditate, our magic burst out of us and converged on the earrings lifting them off of the ground. Our magic then condensed, in the center of the sun and the crescent of the moon respectively, leaving a black gem in the center of the sun and a white gem in the crescent of the moon. Afterwards we passed out the earrings levitating off the ground waiting for there masters.
A while later we woke up with a pounding headache. Getting off of the ground we look up at our new magical focus and see a gold sun with a black glow like an eclipse, then a silver crescent moon with several specs of light like a diamond had been shattered, or like a cluster of white stars.
We had decided that I would get 'Starry Night' and Aisha would get "Eclipse'. We had chosen their names after we made them, after all any self-respecting craftsmen names all of their pieces. The reason we chose to do it this way was because of what happened at Malfoy manor. We realized that if we mixed our magic in the earrings they would be powerful, but if we also made the gems out of our magic and swapped them our magic would be amplified to an extreme.
So when we put our earrings on we didn't feel different but the moment we tried to levitate a rock the size of our palm. Instead of levitating and saying there it shot several meters into the sky, even with the meager amount of mana in us. We then cast one of those harmless 'Magic Missiles' and instead of a small blue bolt, we got a large one about the length of an arm and width of a head. And instead of a small impact that could only cause a bruise, we got something that could brake bones.
It was a success, they amplified our magic so much so that we had to block off the Magical
Earrings so we could train properly. But they were a success so we began to look for a good wood and something to work as a core for Draco's staff.
When you craft a focus for your-self you kind of go with the flow, as you craft you get a sort of feel for it. But when you craft a focus for someone else you have to think about everything you know about them and infuse magic into the image, then you get an idea for the materials.
When we did this for Draco the idea Aisha got was vague and uncertain, but when I did I got a vision, no doubt do to me being a seer.
The vision showed a staff that was a dark gray in color with a green gem at the top and runes all along the length of the staff. Then the staff broke into several pieces, the wood, the stone, the core, and the runes. The wood was the first to be focuses on and it showed a shrub, or a short tree, with white flowers growing on it that turned into apples, pairs, and quinces.
Then it was the gem, which showed a cave next to a seaside, with a long walk to the bottom where there was a pool with an island in the middle of it, on the center of the island was a marble alter with what looked like a crystal basin with a crystal bowl next to it. The vision looked down at the black water and entered it showing the lake full of corpses, thousands of them. Past all of the corpses are green gems with a gentle glow at the bottom, about as many as there are corpses.
Next it was the core, it was a black feather that had dust on it, it felt like a creation of conflicting things. Finally was the runes it just showed a glance of them, It is an array that I could tell that half was written by Aisha, and the other half was me. After the vision was over I just burst out.
"Fucking hell AAAAA." As I burst out cursing, I feel Aisha startle out of meditation then slap me.
"Language, and what is wrong." Aisha chastised me then asked.
"I just got my first official vision." I told her.
"That is a good thing isn't it?" Aisha asked confused by my reaction.
"Well yes it is, the problem was what was in it. The gem for Draco's staff is in the cave where Slytherin's locket was hidden." I told Aisha and she winced.
"Oh I see." After that we got up and walked up to the Malfoys.
"All right so there is a little snag when it comes to Draco's staff." I announced to the three of them and they gave me questioning looks.
"The gem for it is in a cave on the coast where the 'Dark Lord' left one of his soul fragments. Which is guarded by an army of Inferi." After announcing this they gave me a look that could kill.
"Then you are not going to get it. fitting off an army of any kind is still too much for you two." Narcissa ordered.
"That is why we came to you two." I explained looking at the two adults.
"Our Earrings are made with the Idea of amplifying our magic using 'Mana convergence'." Aisha explained.
"That is the phenomena that happens when Aisha and I clash certain spells." I followed up.
"So the longer we charge a spell the stronger it gets but it won't reach the power that first time." Aisha explained a bit more.
"So what we are asking is you two and I will cover Aisha as she charges a spell to purify most of the necromantic magic in the lake. After that we will have to deal with the rest of them then deal with the actual water." I told them.
"Are you sure that we can do it, you said that it was an army but you didn't say how many." Lucius asked.
" at most a couple thousand, at least a thousand." After I said that the room went quiet. I then remembered Snape and immediately checked what his personality was like. he is a decent man who just doesn't like the mistakes he made.
"What if we bring Severus Snape in." At that they all looked at me.
"Severus was one of His greatest supporters, he would never willingly work with you." Lucius denied.
"So were you." I shot back as a fact.
"Plus we can grab something from Little Hangleton that could help us." I added thinking about another Horcrux.
"What could help us in Little Hangleton?" Narcissa asked. When she did I grinned a malicious grin.
"You will see." I replied, if Snape actually refuses to help a visit from a flower might do the trick.
"Alright we have a plan, you will contact Snape to set up a meeting me and Aisha will go to Little Hangleton to commit bloodline theft." At that they gave me strange looks.
"What?" I asked.
"You two are not committing bloodline theft." Narcissa exclaimed frustrated.
"It was a joke, besides it doesn't belong to them anymore their dead." I explained calmly.
"You're not helping Azrael." Aisha said.
"Set the meeting for next weekend. And if he allows it Aisha can remove the Dark mark." After that we left, we had homework do tomorrow.
