As soon as Anastasia opened the door to the meeting room, her eyes scanned through the people around before she parted her lips to speak. "Good morning, everyone."
Though it may seem like a harmless greeting, only a few forced their mouths open and greeted her back. However, Anastasia didn't take offense to their reply.
She walked towards the head of the desk but didn't get the chance to take a seat when she was bombarded with immediate questions.
"Before you start talking about the changes in the names of the CEO of the Harrison company, I want you to know that I am not settling with that change."
Anastasia immediately recognized the man who stood up and spoke. He had an aggravated look on his face as if she'd purposely offended him or something.
He was Logan Martins, age 45. He looked younger and fit for his age, and he was one of the top three biggest shareholders of the Harrison company.
