Chapter 6: "Platform 9 3/4"

...

'Aaahhrgh, what a pain.'

'Where I am?; Did I die? No, if I had done that my head wouldn't hurt so much.'

I tried to open my eyes several times, but they felt very heavy.

When I finally managed to open them with a little effort; The first thing I saw wasn't the familiar white beds, not even the...no, wait, that was it.

Feeling a sharp pain coming from my body, I looked down and saw that I was wrapped in bandages.

'He asked me who rescued me?; If I remember correctly I was about to die when...'.

'Shessh~ my head hurts so much I can't remember clearly what happened.'

"Ahem!".

A strong cough caught my attention, once I turned to see, there was an old man drinking tea in one hand; while he ate strange snacks with the other.

"Oh! Looks like you woke up, would you like to have some lemon candy?"

"Eh, what?" Leo lost concentration for a moment and responded unconsciously.

"A lemon candy. It's a kind of muggle candy that I really like."

"No, thank you very much but, uh... are you the one who saved my life?"

The old man only nodded slightly.

"My name is Albus Dumbledore, you should know my name from the admission letter."

Leo felt his mind light up and quickly remembered who he was, even if he doesn't know much about the original plot he still knows who this old man who seems kind to humans and animals is, Albus Dumbledore.

Of course if one would think this way it would be a complete mistake.

Director of the school of magic and wizardry, the most powerful white magician of the century.

Among other titles attributed to him, he is certainly not such a simple character.

"Thank you very much for saving me...."

Although Leo felt very nervous he still thanked him properly, after all he saved his life.

"Mr. Jackson."

When he heard his he felt a little tense.

"After this incident you must notice that you are something special, right?"

"Well, that monster's name is me..." Leo was a little hesitant to say it.

"Demigods.. Right?"

Leo nodded in affirmation but quickly asked worriedly.

"What happened to the monster? Is everyone at the orphanage okay?!"

"Are you talking about the Fury? She is no longer among us, although it cannot be said that she is completely dead."

"As one of Hades' staunchest servants, you can come and go from the Underworld; as for the people in the orphanage... you don't have to worry, everyone is fine."

"Although some saw the monster, the Mist acts on them quickly and they forget what they see or hear."

"Oh right, the Mist is a force controlled by a god, its main function is to make 'mortals' unable to see mythical things clearly and instead see things that their minds can understand."

When he finished perhaps because he felt that he talked too much and his mouth was a little dry he went back to have one more cup of tea and there was silence for a while.

In the end it was me who couldn't help but break it.

"What do you mean by... I'm a demigod..."

"Well Mr. Jackson this requires a long story, do you want to hear it?"

I nodded my head, although I know a lot about the subject, it is always better to know this world better and the differences from the previous one.

"Well, to begin with you should know what the gods are...". What he followed next is a talk he was already familiar with.

The story is basically the same as what he previously knew regarding the gods, with no changes.

As for the demigods, half-breeds or whatever you want to call them, mortals born of a god and a human.

They are not immortal, however, they develop skills to survive in daily life that a normal human could not perform.

The blood of a demigod has a special aroma for monsters, which is why they are constantly attacked by them. Being the son of an older god, the smell is stronger and they are in more danger.

Thanks to all this information Leo was able to conclude that it was definitely the lore described in the world proposed by Rick Riordan.

And this was also a kind of fusion between two worlds; between him and the books written by Jk. Rowling.

Although he still does not know if someone named Percy Jackson exists, if he existed he would be a year younger than him, that is, within two years in 1993 the plot of Zeus's lost lightning bolt would begin.

However, after learning all this, Leo still had a strange feeling, as if everything was not as simple as it seems.

As if some piece of the puzzle were missing.

That's why he now made it his first priority to become stronger, enough to be able to be completely free to choose his destiny or at least prevent it from being in the hands of another.

A few minutes passed, I guess Dumbledore was waiting for me to digest this information, so after seeing that I raised my head he continued his talk, only this time with a more serious face...

"Normally all these 'beings' tend to hang around in the west where the flare, Olympus, is located."

"The gods, although powerful, have many restrictions that prevent them from using all their power, therefore they usually have children to help them fulfill some... errands."

"Although I don't know why you're here, but those monsters won't stop until they hunt you down."

Leo understood what he meant, but it was something he had expected since he thought he had been reborn in the Percy Jackson books, and something that only he knew was that they were looking for him not because of his identity or at least not in part, but without a doubt it was because of his identity. the mysterious pendant he obtained in his rebirth.

And although Leo wanted to ask Dumbledore directly about where he came from, he knew that being reckless didn't amount to anything good; Besides, he always felt that Dumbledore was hiding something from him.

"I just want you to know that you don't have to worry, you will be safe at Hogwarts, classes will start in a month; remember to go to station nine three quarters, I am eager to see which house you will end up in Mr. Jackson."

After saying all this he stood up and before going through the door he remembered something and turned to see Leo.

"On the table I left you a concoction from Madam Pomfrey, a very nice lady, she is the school nurse, you will meet her later, drink it and you will recover faster."

"See you at Hogwarts Mr. Jackson."

When he finished speaking he disappeared in a wave of fire, Leo was a little surprised and breathed a sigh of relief, the pressure of being in front of Albus Dumbledore was not just anyone's, and if you remember, he could read minds so all the way he didn't. she dared to look him in the eyes, calmed down, and then frowned again.

Although his body still hurt a lot looking at the thick brew that bubbled and was a dark green color.

He figured that a little pain was nothing he couldn't handle...

___________________________________________

On September 1.

It was a cold morning and a young man at the train station known as King's Cross was staring at a wall in doubt.

This young man of course was Leo, after he recovered and left the hospital he didn't know where to go for a while.

He didn't go to the orphanage as that could put them at risk, so he sent a letter explaining not to worry and that he was fine.

Although Dumbledore had explained to him during their conversation that as long as he didn't use his magic they shouldn't be able to find him, he still decided not to take that risk.

As for his luggage, apparently Dumbledore did his own thing, except for the wand and a backpack with some clothes that were on the table when he woke up, the rest was sent in advance to Hogwarts.

As for how he lived this month... no, he didn't live under a bridge, with some money he rented a small shared apartment and survived on hamburgers...

This month was not as unproductive as it seems, when he recovered and was discharged, he noticed that his body felt a little different..

In general, his physique gave a fairly radical change, his skin was like steel and was quite difficult to damage, he was stronger, more agile and his reactions were on another level, even his recovery was affected. and it was much faster.

Leo remembered the blow he gave the Fury before losing consciousness and when he checked his pendant, indeed the panel had changed.

Demigod's Physique (Half Awakened) changed to:

==> Demigod Physique (Awakened).

Although Poseidon is not a god that stands out for his strength, he is still very strong like one of the big three.

Leo estimated that, once his body grew over the years, he would only get stronger and stronger.

Without a doubt this was a pleasant surprise, he finally had some strength to establish himself in this world.

However, he was not carried away by a momentary joy, and soon began training.

In his free time he visited the local library and read several books on the use of the sword, chose a wooden stick with a suitable weight and began to practice when he had time.

And now a month later, he finds himself searching for station nine three quarter.

After waiting for a while, he was finally able to figure out where he needed to go.

All thanks to a lady who was walking complaining about the 'mugles' on the road.

"...full of muggles, of course."

Leo looked closely and saw them. The speaker was a plump woman, who was addressing four boys, all with red hair and some with freckles on their faces.

Each one pushed a trunk with their luggage, they were very different from Leo who had empty hands.

Leo remembered who they were, according to his memories they should be the Weasley family, Leo was not a big fan of HarryPotter and he had already forgotten the plot in general... Although he did not remember how to enter the station... he still recognized some relevant characters .

Silently he stood nearby to listen to what they were saying, he heard a sound behind him, when he turned he ran into a somewhat small boy with glasses.

It seems like he wasn't the only one he wanted to hear. So in tactical understanding we said nothing and listened carefully.

"And now, what is the platform number?"

The mother asked.

"Nine and three quarters!" A small girl next to the woman responded.

"Mom, can't I go...?"

"You're not old enough, Ginny. Now sit still. Okay, Percy, you go first."

He pointed to the one who seemed to be the oldest of all, and before the surprised look of me and the black-haired boy, he crashed into the wall and...

Well, no, he just went through it; as if it were a mirage.

Then one by one, in order from oldest to youngest, the boys passed by. Leo, who already knew how to enter, quickly asked.

"Hello, ma'am, do you mind if I go first?"

"Huh? You mean come in?"

I simply nodded.

"So where is your luggage dear? It got lost or something, maybe I can help."

"It's nothing like that, my supplies are simply already on the train, the rest I bring here." I said while showing my small backpack.

"So that's how it is, well don't worry you just have to go straight between those two signs, take care of yourself." The lady kindly explained.

I nodded and walked slowly, I stood in front of a wall and hesitated a little before putting my arm, after feeling that nothing strange happened, it simply opened and I entered quickly.

Where he could no longer see, a similar conversation occurred behind him.

"Sorry".

"Hello, dear. First year at Hogwarts too, right? Ron's new too."

She pointed to the last and youngest of her male children. He was tall, skinny and freckled, with large hands and feet and a long nose.

"Yeah". said the black-haired man. "The thing is... I don't know how..."

"How to get to the platform?"

He asked kindly, and the boy nodded his head.

"Don't worry, did you see what the boy just now did?"

He nodded again.

"Well...The only thing you have to do is go straight towards the barrier that is

between those two platforms and go through, if you are afraid it is better that you enter suddenly.

"Um... Okay."

He pushed his cart and headed towards the barrier. He began to walk and then run, when he was about to crash into the seemingly solid wall.

Prepared for the crash...he still didn't feel that he arrived.

He continued to roll and when he opened his eyes.

A scarlet steam locomotive waited on the crowded platform.

And above his head on a sign it said.

"Hogwarts Express, 11am."

He looked impressed from all sides and when he looked back on a little iron flag it was written

«Platform Nine and Three Quarters».

'I'm finally here...Hogwarts here I come!'
