Chapter 4: "Mrs Ada"
Leo was walking happily down the alley towards Snape's agreed upon location.
As he looked at his wand he couldn't help but nod in satisfaction.
Today was undoubtedly a very productive one, he bought all the necessary supplies to attend the first year at Hogwarts, as well as obtaining a suitable wand for himself.
In fact there was one thing on the list that he didn't buy, a pet. After all he doesn't need an owl to send messages and he doesn't like toads and mice.
He thought about buying a cat, but considering the time, work and money it costs to raise one, he denied the idea. Maybe in the future.
Leo walked a little longer and came to a clothing store, before sitting down to wait he realized that Snape was there.
When he saw him he approached him. "Professor Snape I have finished picking up my wand."
He just turned to look at me and said.
"Okay...hold on, I'll take you home." Listening to it for a few moments I felt my stomach turn.
"There is no other way, a little softer to...". I saw his face wrinkle and my voice slowed down.
"Well".
I grabbed his sleeve like the last time and that feeling of weightlessness invaded me again; I felt that he had touched solid ground and when looking around he had indeed arrived at the shoe store where we met previously.
'I think because it's the second time. but it wasn't that bad.'

'Forget what I said...'
Once my dizziness went away I wanted to thank the teacher for his help, but when I turned around it had disappeared.
"Well it doesn't matter." He just shrugged helplessly.
He adjusted his small backpack and returned along the path he took this morning.
Although it was getting dark, Leo grew up around these parts, so he knew perfectly well which path to take and which not to take.
In addition, he had his hands and feet free, he and Snape had agreed that his supplies would be delivered to him in the morning at the latest so there was no problem in running away, as long as he didn't take a narrow alley. .
It only took an hour to go from the shoe store to the orphanage, when Leo arrived it was already dusk and the happy, tinkling noise of the children eating inside could be heard.
Once inside, the first thing Leo did was go to his room to leave his backpack and wand.
He washed his hands and ran downstairs to eat, he was very hungry after everything except what he had for breakfast tomorrow he hadn't eaten anything else for the rest of the day.
He sat at a table with some people from the orphanage, as it was already quite late all the tables were occupied, so he was only able to sit in a free place.
"Hey everyone, do you mind if I sit here?"
"Ah! Of course, the chair is not occupied." The one speaking now is an older sister from the orphanage and she is a few years older, her name is Nicole.
"Hey Leo, what are you doing, now that you've finished primary school, which secondary school will you go to?" Lizeth said among those who were sitting, she was the youngest, curious and kind to everyone.
"I'm curious too, our famous troublemaker asked me what school he will choose." Ed said, he was wearing a player's coat and had dyed blonde hair, although he seemed like a bad guy, he was just a little grumpy.
"I think Eton College is great and very pretty." Liz said naively as a light shone in her eyes.
"Liz you are dreaming, you still have to take into account her qualifications." Ed said in a disdainful voice.
"Hey, they're not that bad..." I tried to retort but only received cold looks.
"You mean 'not so bad' when you always barely pass," Nicole said accusingly.
"Hey don't blame me, I always do my best it's not my fault I always get expelled."
Leo wanted to complain a little, for him the letters always changed automatically and were replaced by ancient Greek.
In fact, it was something similar to dyslexia because of this, although he knew what the letters expressed, it was a disaster when he wrote, let alone spelled.
"I still think Clarenton College is a great fit." A somewhat funny voice rang out, this guy was Jack, he was eleven years old, he was a little short and he wore glasses.
"Get lost Jack! that's a correctional facility"
While we continued joking and laughing, the food on the table was finally devoured. When we were all preparing to leave, I heard something strange.
"Everyone remember to wash your mouth before going to sleep or Mrs. Ada will punish us"
Nicole said as she carried her plate towards the kitchen.
"How she's always so strict." Jack complained a little.
"She's so weird..." Even little Liz expressed her discontent in her own way. Ed just wiped things away from him without saying a word.
Although it seemed like a normal talk there was something very strange about it, no matter how you think about it... there is definitely something strange there!
"Hey, guys, you've been talking about it, but who is Mrs. Ada?"
This time everyone looked at me strangely. "Leo, even if you are a little crazy every day, you wouldn't forget Mrs. Ada, right?" Nicole said as she complained about my carelessness.
"Mrs. Ada is one of the sisters who welcomed us and cared for us all these years; even if she is a little annoying she doesn't need to be ignored." Jack helped from the side by explaining her identity.
However, although he tried to help, it didn't work at all, Leo felt his back shake and a cold sweat ran through his entire body.
'Sister Amber, Miss Christine, Florence the cook and Helen the director of the orphanage who took me in that night eleven years ago...'.
'Eleven years he has lived in this place and I have never, absolutely never heard of a certain Mrs. Ada.'
While Leo was still scared he was awakened by a hand holding his shoulder.
"Is something wrong Leo?"
"Hey?".
"You were stunned for a few seconds, the others have already left." Ed pointed out as he looked around and sure enough there was no one there.
Ed, seeing that he was thoughtful again, shrugged his shoulders and left.
Leo sensed that something was happening and he couldn't continue staying here doing nothing. He left the plate and cutlery on a random table and prepared to run towards the bedroom.
'The first thing is to look for the wand, even if you don't know how to use any spell, it is always better to have a weapon than not have one.'
However just as he was about to reach the door a voice sounded from behind him.
"Mr. Jackson why hasn't he taken his plate to the dining room yet."
Leo mechanically turned his head and a middle-aged lady in an elegant dress appeared before his eyes.
"To.. that; ma'am.... Ada... well.. she was about to do it." He said as he slowly backed towards the door.
"Really, then; Mr. Jackson."
"You know you're going the wrong way, the kitchen is behind me"
"Hehehe.... yes well, first I have to go... urinate; yes, that's it."
"You noticed him a little nervous, Mr. Jackson, he's fine."
Mrs. Ada walked slowly to where she found me; Every step she took was like a strong blow to my heart. My instinct was telling me to run as fast as possible, that she won't let her get close...
"Do you know that it has a very peculiar smell..."
As she approached I realized two things; that this world was not as simple as I thought and that....
"You are afraid Mr. Jackson... I smell it."
Today she may not survive...

Leo bit his tongue hard and his numb brain reacted thanks to the pain.
'No, I can't die here, react.'
Leo grabbed the door handle and quickly rushed through. Once outside in the patio he slammed the door hoping to delay time a little more, while he thought about how he could help him.
But just a few steps forward, he rolled on the ground unconsciously.
Feeling the pain of some scratches on his arms, he frowned a little.
But when he looked up and saw how the door had flown at high speed right where he was standing an instant ago, he couldn't care less about the pain.
He quickly got up and looked behind him, he didn't know when Mrs. Ada came out of the hole, step by step, slowly as if she were in no hurry.
However, Leo could not be more scared, before her eyes the elegant Mrs. Ada looked completely different from before her, a dark gray fog enveloped her and little by little she was transformed.
Leo was stunned once he saw the creature inside, that woman was not a human at all.
She was horrifying, nothing he had ever seen in his life, at least off a screen.
She had huge wings like those of a bat, thin but sharp legs, a scaly body that ran all the way up to her head.
Thin ears, but unlike elves these were sharp with a rocky texture, small, yellowish teeth along with a reptilian tail.
"A-a... A fury!"
"Oh you know me, well then this will make things easier for you."
