Chapter 70: Ch 70: Another Connection?
"Greetings! 9th Young Master!"
Yang Feng looked at the two with a slight smile and said, "arise." Hearing the response and his calm and slightly friendly behavior, the two subtly looked at each other before standing normally.
"So, we're being called back because of the war, right?", Yang Feng said as he started walking in the direction where the others had gathered after feeling the two men's auras.
The two followed him without complain and answered, "yes! ... The Patriarch was injured during a battle with the demon lord and thus made all the Young Lords come back to choose the next patriarch."
"But, I'm not blood related to the Yang Clan and so can't participate in the selection.", saying this Yang Feng glanced at them from over his shoulder and continued, "who was the one that sent you guys to call me back?"
Although Yang Feng was adopted by Yang Ying Feng and was accepted as the Young Lord of the Clan because of his Talent. He was still not from the Yang Clan linage and so he couldn't participate in the Patriarch Selection.
The two remained neutral and said, "It was the Fourth Master and Madam that requested you to be called back with the others as you are still the 9th Young Master.", Yang Feng who heard this smiled slightly, 'that's a b*ll. The two must have been missing me and called me back with an excuse that the clan couldn't ignore.'
As they finished their talk, they reached the outside the Alchemy building, where the others were waiting for him. Dong Qing Yan and Meng Wu Ya both understood what was going on with a single glance towards the blood warriors. The two knew about his background and their training method and about the blood warriors.
Xiao Fu Sheng also understood what was going on after some thinking and looked at him in surprise. Xia Ning Chang although knew about his background and training, didn't knew about the blood warriors so she was a little confused.
Yang Feng smiled and told her about who the two were and that he would be leaving. When she heard that he was leaving, she was visibly a bit disappointed. Seeing her act like this Yang Feng asked her, "do you want to come with me?", he continued with a mischievous smile, "... You can meet my parents too. I'm sure they would want to meet their daughter-in-law."
Xia Ning Chang blushed instantaneously upon hearing about meeting his parents and began stuttering a bit. Everyone chuckled upon seeing her cute behavior.
After she calmed down, she thought about it and after looking at his somewhat anticipated look, agreed, which by default made Meng Wu Ya also agree.
With that done, Yang Feng looked towards Xiao Fu Sheng and said while cupping his hands, "thank you for the hospitality Old Xiao." <I have a request of to ask of you....>
Xiao Fu Sheng laughed and said, "the pleasure is all mine Young Friend Feng, you had helped me greatly in my alchemic advancement. You are welcomed here anytime. As for what you asked ... I agree."
Yang Feng again thanked him and after a few minutes he left with Xia Ning Chang, Meng Wu Ya and the two blood warriors. With all of their cultivation surpassing Mid Immortal Ascension Realms, their speed was quite fast.
The two blood warriors were in shock that the two, Yang Feng and Xia Ning Chang, were at high immortal ascension realm, 'who are these monsters!! this talent was too monsterous!!'
What they didn't knew was that Yang Feng was a Transcendent Realm cultivator as he had lowered his aura on purpose. He was already too high profiled as a high immortal ascension realm cultivator, if he appeared as a Transcendent, there might be complications which he wanted to avoid till the Earth Vein was accessable.
Seeing the route they had taken, the two blood warriors asked, "Young Lord, where are we going?", they were going in a different direction than that of the Capital City. Yang Feng answered without looking at them.
"There's a place I have to visit before going to the Capital.", the place they were heading to was the place where he felt Su Yan's presence.
The two didn't ask further as it's their job to accompany the Young Lords where ever they go, till they reach the Capital.
They continued to fly constantly for two days during which the two blood warriors observed the three they were accompanying, mostly Yang Feng. Although Yang Feng couldn't become the Patriarch, he would still be a high level elder of the family considering his strength and potential.
While they were flying Meng Wu Ya and Xia Ning Chang had once asked where they were going. After Yang Feng told them their destination with his divine sense, the two remained quite about it.
By the dusk of the third day, they reached where Yang Feng felt Su Yan's presence, without any delay as they were constantly flying at a high speed. The place where they landed was a small valley with higher than normal world energy.
When they landed, as they were not hiding their auras the people living among the Valley sensed them, they were greeted by a site of five shocked old men standing in front of less than a hundred youths, male and female.
As the old men were about to ask who the people were, they and the youths behind them saw Yang Feng, Meng Wu Ya and Xia Ning Chang among the group. They were first surprised before they erupted in loud exclamations and rushed towards Yang Feng.
As he looked at the group, Yang Feng assured them that he was alright and came to see them. After being calmed down by the elders and being assured by Yang Feng, the youths retreated to their freshly made wooden houses.
The elders then talked to Yang Feng about where he was, to which he just replied he was training, and told him about their experience after they were separated from the sect master.
"I'll have to disappoint the elders, but I don't know where the sect master is.", the elders sighed hearing his words, although they already knew that the chances were slim it was still a bit disappointing.
"You brats should worry about your selves instead of Brother Ling. He will appear when he feels that the time is right.", hearing Meng Wu Ya's words the elders calmed down. They didn't feel anything wrong with Meng Wu Ya's repend as they knew he was the closest to the sect master and, to their knowledge, from the same generation of the sect master and also because of his strength that they felt had grown.
After all that was resolved, Yang Feng ordered the two blood warriors to rest for now and told the same to Xia Ning Chang, before leaving. Elder Su, Su Yan's grandfather, was about to tell him about Su Yan's location but he stopped upon seeing where Yang Feng was heading.
As Yang Feng approached his destination, which was a cave, he felt the surrounding temperature getting lower and lower, when he reached the cave, the temperature was low enough that anyone below Qi Transformation Realm would be shivering with cold.
As he entered the cave which he saw was covered in ice, he looked at the back of the cave and saw Su Yan sitting on the Cold jade bed, cultivating. She looked like a pure fairy that was untainted by the world's filth.
As if she had sensed his arrival, she tried to move but her Qi flow got disturbed. Yang Feng feeling this swiftly went ahead and held her hands and helped her stabilize her Qi. Once her Qi had finally stabilized Yang Feng said, "You should be careful. It's not like I would disappear suddenly right."
Su Yan opened her eyes as she heard his words. She didn't answer him but looked at him with soft, tender and slightly moist eyes. Seeing her like this Yang Feng moved forward and Claimed her lips. "Ya... Yang .. Feng..Mmm~~", she wanted to say something but couldn't as Yang Feng just deepened the kiss when she opened her mouth to speak.
As they were kissing, Yang Feng slowly pushed her down on the Jade bed. Soon after the room was filled with various sounds as the couple shared their knowledge of cultivation with each other.

The next day, the two reluctantly left the cave, but although reluctant their faces glowed much more than the previous night, with Su Yan supporting a slightly pink face. The two walked arm in arm and reached the place where the sect's people had made new cabins.
When they reached the place, they were greeted by the site of two blood warriors standing near the end of the place where the cabins were made, on the path that lead to the cave they had just came out of.
The two were sitting cross-legged under two trees, across from each other, with their eyes closed. When Yang Feng and Su Yan appeared, the two opened their eyes and upon seeing him, they greeted him.
Nodding to the two in acknowledgement, Yang Feng and Su Yan continued to walk. During which he told her about the two and their reason of being here. When Yang Feng and Su Yan reached near the core area of the cabins, they saw the elders standing there talking about something with serious expressions.
"Greetings Elders" said Yang Feng and Su Yan towards the elders, who turned to look at the source of the voices. When they saw them, their faces showed smiles and they returned their greeting.
Su Yan asked the elders, "what is it that the elders are discussing about so seriously.", the elders looked at Su Yan and said with a sigh. "We were thinking about the thing Yang Feng offered us last night."
Su Yan looked at Yang Feng in slight confusion as he hadn't told her about it. He then told her that when he arrived last night, he told the elders to shift from here to a place he had arranged and told them to discuss among themselves till morning.
He then focused his attention to the elders and asked them, "so, what did the elders agree upon?". The elders first looked at each other before the Great Elder said, "we will follow your arrangements."
Hearing this Yang Feng smiled a little and said," then elder should inform the desciples about it and have them pack their things.", the elders nodded and went about their work. Yang Feng and Su Yan then went towards another cabin and entered after knocking.
Inside Xia Ning Chang was sitting on a chair with a dazed look on her veiled face. The two chuckled as they saw her, which brought Xia Ning Chang out of her daze. Looking at the two, Xia Ning Chang stood up startled, before she hugged Su Yan as the two greeted each other.
The two had become great friends and Xia Ning Chang treated Su Yan as big sister figure, so the two got along very well. Yang Feng felt at peace seeing two of his women talking to each other and treating each other as sisters.
He suddenly pulled the two into his arms which caused the two to let out a startled voice, which quickly died down as they too hugged him back. "How lucky I am to have you two.", Yang Feng said in a soft, loving voice as he looked at the two.
The two smiled, but suddenly Su Yan said something that surprised him a bit, "Oh! Is that why you have a very special connection to another women behind our backs.". Yang Feng blinked owlishly as his mind digested her words, "Special Connection?"
'She shouldn't be talking about Shan Qing Luo as it has been some time since we met.', he thought to himself, he indeed had a few kisses and rubbing sessions with Shan Qing Luo but he had bathed and changed his clothes multiple times since he left fragrance city so there shouldn't be any form of scent on him.
Su Yan looked at his face and saw that he was genuinely confused with her remark, "you really don't know??", her tone sounded as if she still couldn't believe his words. She then continued, "check your soul connection, there's another connection made with you, albeit weak."
This stunned him as he swiftly entered his knowledge sea and saw what Su Yan mentioned. He had entered the section of his knowledge sea where he kept the small part of Su Yan's soul, that entered his knowledge sea when they achieved the third stage of their Dual Cultivation technique, this small piece of soul would allow him to revive her in case something happened to her, which he wouldn't allow to happen till he was with her.
There he saw another small piece of soul, which was ten times smaller than Su Yan's piece, floating near each other. Upon concentrating on the piece, he felt a location in his mind, which he knew was in the Ash-Gray Cloud Land.
