"Hector, where's my sister?" Asher asked the bodyguard as soon as the call got connected.

"She travelled." That said, Hector waited for Asher Bowman to say something else, but Asher only gave a low hum and cut the call.

Asher had been trying to reach out to Iris for four days, but none of his calls went through. When he tried to reach out to his boss, his calls didn't go through either. Asher was at a dead end, but nothing seemed to be working, as all the people who could help him had their numbers either switched off, or they were unreachable.

"What do I do now?" Asher mumbled, wondering if he should reach out to the police. However, Iris already prompted him to always tell her first whenever he was in a situation like the one he was currently facing.
