Chapter 38: Telling tales

"Iris… Iris. Iris!!!" 

Cyrina's screams tore through the crowd that gathered at the city square, and everyone was concerned about how hysterical she was. It was certain she knew the person who just got hit by the truck. She had walked over when she noticed Iris was away for too long, only to see a crowd gathered at the place, with an ambulance and paramedics scattered everywhere. 

Her heart froze for a moment when she had a fleeting thought, but threw it to the back of her head before pushing through the crowd. Faced with the gory mess, Cyrina felt so bitter about her friend's accident that she was ready to turn back the hands of time - if only she could.
