Chapter 103: The Final Straw

"Ethan…" Lily grimaced in pain as his grip tightened around her wrist. "Let go."

"No!"

"You're hurting me." Lily tried to free her hand, but no matter how hard she struggled, she couldn't escape his iron grip.

Ethan's cold eyes glared at her, refusing to relent.

She dares to ask me to let go?!

Rain poured down on both of them, drenching them.

"Mr. Blackwood?" A sultry voice cut through the tension. Dressed in an evening gown, Beth Samson stepped out of a sleek sports car, holding an umbrella. She walked over to Ethan and shielded him from the rain. "Mr. Blackwood, what are you doing here? Let me take you home."

Lily stood silently, letting the rain soak her, watching Beth casually looping her arm through Ethan's.

She had seen a similar scene before, with Alice and Alex.
