Glossary

Soul System: Body + Mind + Spirit

Each is divided into sub categories, the body containing the largest amount of factors and the spirit having the fewest.

Body: Stamina + Strength + Agility + Speed + Recovery + Will

Mind: Analytical + Intuitive + Creative

Spirit: Chi

Each of these stats range from Level: 1-10. The collective of all these parts amount to the tier of one's Soul. The soul also ranges from Level: 1-10, and will ascend in hierarchy when any one of the three components is maxed out.

Food System:

Food is sacred, not only because of what they provide but because where they come from. Foods - excluding the devil fruit - are a gift to us from the gods. They created each unique food with a purpose, and there is a power system in place within our digestive system that can extract abilities from each respective food.

Fruits: a stimulant energy source.

-Berries can be used to prolong your endurance and even replenish your fatigued muscles.

Roots: used to fuel your chi.

Nuts: used to improve cognitive function.

Grains: used to mend injuries.

Every category and sub category of food serves a unique purpose; they are each incredibly potent and powerful. They must be treated with reverence and respect due to this.

Cooking: Heating, mixing, and cutting up these foods can be akin to alchemy. Which is why cooking is forbidden to mundane people. The only people educated enough to know how to cook safely are the kite riders (except for a few outliers).

Ingredients Book: A manual that contains the stats of each food and how they contribute to ones soul system. Each book varies due to the researcher who wrote it. They do not involve instructions on how to cook, for that is forbidden to be achieved or written.

Recipe Book: A book containing images on techniques of cooking. Words are forbidden to describe cooking due to the precision of the amount being the secret to success; but the recipe books served the purpose of teaching young apprentices the methods of cooking rather than the precise quantity (in order to maintain the sacredness of keeping cooking a secluded hidden art).

Kilo: A derogatory slang word to curse at someone.

Glutton: Souls corrupted by the potency of the devil fruit which mutated them into nightmarish creatures. There are five classes of hierarchy when it comes to gluttons:

GT1: (Gene Type 1) "Fun Size", these were equivalent to a large beast in Lilo's world. Extremely physically powerful with an insatiable desire to consume human flesh containing any trace of devil's fruit, but still able to be defeated hand to hand by an experienced human fighter.

GT2: "Plus Size", these were larger than most animals on earth. Equivalent in titanic size to the extinct dinosaurs. They were insanely physically powerful, only being able to be slain by the most elite trained warriors.

GT3: "Party Size", these gluttons were small in size, and easily identifiable because of their petite figure. What made them dangerous was their projectiles and cunning tactics. They were capable of breathing any element as a projectile and were insidiously intelligent with how they hunted their prey; making them terrifying to come across.

GT4: "Super Size", these gluttons were extremely rare but when encountered, your death was certain. Most gluttons past GT1 had to be combatted by specialized enchanted weapons or super soldiers harnessing the power of cursed candy. This glutton could wipe an entire cohort of experienced warriors because of its unique ability to cast spells and create traps. They all varied in size but were identified by their ascension in intelligence and ability to manipulate magic.

GT5: "Quake Size", the eerily intelligent ominous creature that lived in the forbidden temple. It's ability's were mysterious but certainly deadly.

Cursed Candy: This tree's fruit was the source of the mystical euphoric death candy's. The fruit of the tree was called: devil's fruit.

The candy made from the fruit was created by the tree born, infused with controlled variables to create a desired outcome of a superpower; and is called: cursed candy.

Craver: If a regular human ate of any trace of the devil fruit, they would be diagnosed with Cravings: an insatiable desire to stuff themselves with the forbidden fruit. The more they craved the food, the more desperate they became, and their hunger was everlasting, never being able to be satisfied with any amount of cursed candy or devil fruit. Each dose of devil fruit consumed and corrupted their soul, turning them into gluttons.

Wiper: People within the spire who are servants.

Handler: People within the spire who manage the servants and slaves.

Shepherd: Scouters who are designated weapons within the out skirts.

Herder: Shepherd trainee apprentices who learn under shepherds for four years before graduating and becoming one themselves.

Turner: The inventors and scribes of the spires.

Kite Rider: The powerhouses of the spires, powerful mages who fly on sky boards that get dragged behind an enchanted kite.

Fiens: Elders of the spire who rule and lead. They are known to believe in ancient superstitions and wield otherworldly magic.

Timbers: The tree born who are capable of consuming cursed candy and wield insane power.

Characters

note: all ages are at the beginning of the characters introductions. They will age as the story moves forward (obviously).

Lilo: A 27yr old MMA fighter who died in his own puddle of vomit and piss.

Candy: Lilo's ex wife.

Eros: Lilo's best friend from his past life.

Soda: His birth name is Snoh but he was forced to abandon his name after becoming infected. A 12yr old forsaken craver child who was buried alive by his family for fear of turning into a glutton. His choice of poison was a can of grape soda.

Chalant: Soda's brother.

Pepper: A beautiful witty shepherd in her mid twenties that wields an ice revolver. It's source of power are spear mint's.

Lemon: A brave and clever 15yr old that is an apprentice to her sister: Pepper.

Jawbi: A witty meathead that enjoys adrenaline inducing violence. His source of power are Jaw breaker candies (hard layerd candy).

Wonka: A Turner turned Shepherd who enjoys creating toys (weapons made to harness the power of cursed candy without having to consume them) for his cohort.

Pop: A pretentious shepherd in his late teens who parades around with the largest caravan of cravers. His powers are derived from pop rocks (an explosive candy).

World

Out skirts: An expanse of an overgrown city that is beyond the spire; riddled with gluttons and other indescribable abominations.

Spire citadels: There are nine: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self Control. They are the walls the protect the inner circle from the glutton's invasion.

Inner circle: An expanse of a peaceful farm land between the candy tree and the spires.

Timber Temple: The magnificent tree at the center of civilization that birthed devil fruits and the society that harnessed its power through synthetic candy.

Forbidden Temple: The eerie place in the out skirts where the most powerful and sentient glutton dwells.
