Chapter 9: Everyone is searching for me
Dillan are you sure you heard that there is a treasure in the Shadow Forest we have been walking for almost 20 days now and we still haven't found anything A big man with a ax on his back complained to another man.

I overheard some Rushing wolf sect disciples talking about it at the market. I was able to get closer to them when they weren't paying attention. Apparently, some kid got a treasure that is making the top three sects fight for it. This person supposedly took down 1 person from each of the three sects each above the 7th body refining level. I also heard that all three sects sent out groups of disciples to go find this person. I'm not the only person who overheard the Rushing Wolf Sect disciples. Even more people heard the news and are searching for this person hoping to get a reword for bringing this person in.
Then why are we checking the outer edge of the forest Dillian if this person knew they were wanted by the top three sects. they would surely want to hide in the deeper parts of the forest. Or if he was really crazy, he would hide In the Phantom Mist Forest.
Dillan sighed. Finn That's what most people would think but I think he wouldn't be so obvious to go into the deeper region of the forest and I don't think this person is crazy enough to go into the Phantom Mist Forest. So that's why we are checking the outer region. Of this forest.
Ezra who was listening from behind a tree was shocked that the news of him had spread too almost everyone. But what is this Phantom Mist Forest. He had never heard of such a place before. But then again, he didn't know much about a lot of things.
Should I just kill them he thought to himself. He had never killed someone before, but he couldn't let them find where he was stay especial since Stacy and the rest of her family lived there. Maybe these two can be useful to me, he thought. I could find out more about this Phantom Mist Forest. It might be a good place to hide in case I'm discovered.
As he looked closer at the two, he realized they were both at the low 9th level body refining stage. This will be a bit tricky. Even though he had broken through to the first level qi gather stage. He wasn't yet used to being at this stage. He couldn't fully control his combat strength yet. Wait let me try to use my star Crow he thought.
He tried to use the Crow only to realize he couldn't. Did learning the conceal skill really use up that much energy he thought as he checked his energy, he was shocked to realize he only had about 30% of his energy left in him. This can't be happening. He as so focused on learning Conceal skill fast, he didn't realize how much energy it took out of him. Even though his cultivation increased to the 1st level qi gathering realm and he could hold more energy in his body. Using his blood to comprehend skills faster took too much energy out of him.
I guess from now on I shouldn't use my blood that much until my cultivation increases. Ezra was brought out of his thoughts when he heard Dillan and Finn getting closer. I have no choice. I must fight I can't let them see where they live
With that Ezra jumped out from behind the tree he was hiding behind right in front of Dillan and Finn.
It took a second for Dillan and Finn to get over their shock at someone jumping out from the shadows. Who are you, Dillan asked.

Dillan looked at Finn with a warning look before turning to Ezra. Are you by any change the person everyone is looking for. He said in a calm tone.
