Chapter 155: little mischief in you

Urag's expression grew darker as he led Eiravyne out of the cottage, a sense of seriousness replacing his usual playful demeanor. 

He handed her a pair of shoes, and she slipped them on before following him outside. 

The air was cool and crisp, and the morning sun cast long shadows as they walked. 

He led her to a small, weathered annex where he usually kept his belongings hidden away. 

As he opened the rusty door, Eiravyne's eyes widened in shock. Inside, she saw Ilkar, Roland, and Karl lying on the ground, unconscious.

"What happened?" Eiravyne demanded, her voice a mix of confusion and concern.

Urag's expression was stern as he replied, "He wanted to take you, still thinks you're his wife. When I refused, things got... complicated."

Eiravyne's heart raced as she looked at Urag, feeling a mixture of emotions swirl within her.
