Chapter 175: A Foul Prophecy

The death of Seraphina did not cause ripples in the hearts present. 

Renaud remained at the mansion for lunch before leaving to explore Ghost City while Cornelius looked into the origins of Seraphina. He felt a little frustrated that the factions of the cultivation and supernatural world were so set on a groundless prophecy. 

When he found the person who claimed he was going to be the father of the child of destiny, he would flay their skin. It would be even better to find the origin of the prophecy and let those involved die without a complete body. 

Leila and Xavier spent the evening looking through the house, especially in the library. Xavier even gave her some insights on decoding the book she 'liberated' from the old uncle at The Paper Trail.
