Chapter 87: Carmen’s Evil Plan

Destiny's POV

They sedated me, and I had no idea where I was when I woke up, and the only consolation was I was lying on a comfy bed. My entire torso ached, and I could feel my whole world spinning as I tried to sit up from the bed.

When I opened my eyes, my ex-stepmother's familiar voice said, "At last, you are awake. "

"Aren't you tired of doing something like this, Carmen?" I asked as I flicked my eyes on her.

"Nah, this is me, Destiny. This is my life, and I am loving every moment of it," she responded with a sinister smile all over her beautiful face.

"It was such a pity that you are in my hands once again, and this time, I will not hesitate to end your life. I am just waiting for the percent time." She added, and I could feel the blood in my veins boiling with anger.

"You didn't deserve a second chance," I mumbled, and I realized they secured my wrist and feet with ropes tied on the bedpost.
