Chapter 71: The Most Wonderful Thing

Destiny's POV

The pounding on my door woke me from my slumber, and I groaned as I opened my eyes and looked at the time on my alarm clock on the side table; it was still five o'clock in the morning.

With heavy steps and eyes half closed, I walked to the door and opened it. There he was, standing in front of me, looking so fresh. He was wearing a dark blue elastane cotton shirt and black shorts paired with well-fitting running shoes. Red was already in his running attire while I was still in my pajamas.

"Good morning, sleepy head," he greeted me with a wide grin on his handsome face.

"Good morning. Can you jog alone?" I asked, covering my mouth before I yawned.

"No, we agreed last night we would have a run together this morning; this is our first workout as a couple." He responded as his smile widened.

"I can't believe you have a couple of goals on your list," I replied, and I could no longer stop myself from smiling at him.
