Ava unconsciously stroked her stomach gently when the prison guard in charge of escorting them began to show them the way to their meeting place with Dominic. Her heart was involuntarily beating faster as her feet stepped deeper into the large prison that had confined Dominic for the past few months.

The last time Alexa saw Dominic's face was when she watched Dominic's trial from home using a live streaming service. The man still looked calm and dignified as before, even when the judge sentenced him to prison because he was found guilty of the murder he committed on Jake, his child, and also Irina.
