Chapter 920: uh, hell no!

Halfway through the race, just when Zoren and Hugo were about to finish their last shots, they both slowed down. The first few drinks had gone down like water to them, but the more they drank, the harder it became to swallow the next one. Hence, they were taking pauses in between.

The cheering and everything around them weren't helping. If anything, it was adding to their intoxication.

"You're not winning," Hugo huffed as soon as he swallowed his drink, grabbing the next one. However, just as he was about to drink it, he gagged a little at the smell of alcohol.

"I will," Zoren breathed out, forcing his eyes to stay open as his vision started to shake. He opened his eyes wide, blinking a few times, only to narrow them. "I see two…"

"Ah, shit…" Hugo sighed, resting his hand on the table. "What kind of drink did they give us?"
