Avery could not understand why he would want to treat her with respect, except he hadn't heard what she told him her name was. But as he led her through the lobby and into the presidential elevator, she stopped asking.

After all, her questions only made the receptionist who had now introduced himself as Mack, continue to apologize to her for not respecting her earlier.

'Maybe he's planning to leave here and come to work in our company. A form of sucking up? Or he's just trying to get in my favor for a reason,' she mused.

The elevator doors slid open when they got to the top floor and Avery stepped out, leaving Mack behind.

"Thanks for bringing me up," she said with a small smile.
