Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The War and the Consequences
There he stood the man who started all this for a some stupid ideal that warriors should be the only path in the world, a war that killed millions and destroyed half the world, for what all just to prove a point.
I looked at the Saint and asked "Was it worth it, WAS ALL THIS DEATH AND DESTRUCTION WORTH IT".
The bastard looked at me and laughed, and then sighed "Leonardo the Elemental Sage the master of all elements the strongest Magnus in the world, is now beaten and surrounded by those you once looked down on. the 'mere' warriors you used to say when we were young, how does it feel to kneel before this 'mere' warrior Saint you once called trash and hopeless in the past."
I looked at the pure hatred in his eyes this man I once called a friend, and even a brother then wondered where it started this hate. "Hey Leonardo do I really have to practice this magic I want to use a sword and be a knight."
"Don't make me laugh Jackson a mere knight would never match a mage like myself if you truly want power then a Magnus is what you must become not a mere knight."
Ah I see now that's where it started the contempt I held as a child for those whose walked the path of a warrior, As I got more powerful I looked down on him more as his growth was slow at the start. While with a wave of my hand I could burn a city to the ground, but one day I met a knight who changed my outlook on everything when I was young, He wielded a sword and cut a mountain in two could even walk on air and was even stronger than me at the time, but I never saw Jackson again to apologize for my past actions till after the war already started.
"I see Jackson, I'm sorry for the past things I've said, I didn't know it hurt you to this point if I..."
"No no no my dear Leonardo what you said hurt, but it made me strive to prove you wrong and show how powerful a warrior can be that was the plan at least till I saw you so called enlightened beings the mages, the esteemed Magnus would kill those for fun and how you people killed my family, friends, lover, and took everything from me just because I was a 'mere' knight."
Leonardo looked at Jackson in shock and disbelief, as far as he knew Jacksons family was still alive, so he asked "H-how when I left the village with my master everyone was still alive, I even got reports monthly your family was alive and well, I don't understand."
"AHAHAHAHAH I see I see so you don't even know, well let me enlighten you mister Magnus, a fellow one of your kind took over our village, and it was fine at first everyone was happy we have a mage protecting us an A-rank one at that, but one day he came to the village and took some young women and men to serve him at his mansion, then one day everything changed this mage came back and started to kill saying something about weak things should die and that everything in this world should belong to the mages the true rulers, I managed to escape because I was out hunting in the woods for my wife and soon to be child, but guess what I saw when I got back a burning village and a man laughing crazily, when I charged at him in a rage he just hit me with fire magic, and said I was just a trash knight not even worthy of him to get his hands dirty with my blood, from that day on I swore vengeance on all mages and to rid this world of there filth, and so I have as your the last living mage and soon to be dead."
Now I understand that mage I stationed there caused all this, he even gave me false reports all these years that bastard. I would kill him myself but I cant he is most likely already dead. Wait why would he kill all those innocent people in the first place unless...
It was at that moment that Leonardo understood this all was planned the war the destruction of the village everything. The demonic cult those f*ckers started this with half the world gone and there one enemy the mages gone they can summon there god in peace, and we gave all the sacrifices they could need.
"HAHHAHAHAHHAH since that's the case ill take you bastards and everything with me." Leonardo started to charge his strongest spell one that could blow apart the very fabrics a reality itself.
"Sh*t, kill him now" yelled Jackson as he realized what Leonardo was trying to do, how ever before he could move the explosion went off and with it everything.

'Argh my head, where am I?' thought Leonardo as he started to wake up to a white room with giants.
(Author note): So this is the new back story and chapter 1 let me know if it is good ill leave the old up for now till I finish rewriting it completely ill just post this one till then.
