Artie was about at her wits end when a soft knock sounded at the door and she froze. The door opened, and in peeked a slightly disheveled Sir Lamorak. To anyone else, he probably looked put together, but when Moira and Artie locked eyes across the room, the two of them smirked.
"How are you fairing, Sir Lamorak?" Moira's voice was loud, causing several of the people in the room to jump. Ragnelle was the worst for it. Sir Lamorak winced.
"I am well, Moira. There is no need to raise your voice so." The two knights beside Artie, who had been crowding her before, now practically smothered her as Sir Lamorak entered the room. He seemed nervous, and Artie had a feeling as to why.
"Oh? I thought she had a very good reason to be concerned, Sir Lammy." The man turned several shades all at once, and Artie could feel every set of eyes on her. She refused to look at them as Sir Lamorak looked ill.
