Chapter 57: The past will always haunt you

"Artie, Sir Kay didn't mean to upset you." Sir Lancelot said as he watched her toss the practise sword to the side, and fumble with Excalibur.

"He didn't upset me." Artie replied, and Lancelot sighed.

"You may not think so, but it is clear that he did." Sir Lancelot said, and Artie could feel his gaze on her. She clenched her hand around the scabbard of the holy sword and shook her head.

"No, I am more upset at myself then I could be at Sir Kay. He did nothing wrong in this regard, this is all of my own making. Shall we be on our way?" She asked, and Sir Lancelot looked over her with a concerned gaze, but had a feeling that she wouldn't be willing to hear it.

Without another word, the two of them made their way towards Sir Mordred, who had not a single clue what had happened out on the training field, but from the grim expressions on both of their faces, he grew anxious.
