Returning late at night, Evan cleaned himself thoroughly and settled in for a comfortable rest. Though his body wasn't overly tired, his mind was. 

He felt old, burdened by a sense of alienation. 

Was this his first? 

Certainly no… 

But this was surely his first brutal fight.

Now, he somehow understood why people who kill and see so many deaths carry that usually distinct aura.

It seems that this was the final piece he needed to unlock to significantly boost his charisma. 

After 15 hours of comfortable rest, Evan woke up to find his body aching from the strain. After freshening up, he headed to the basement, only to be interrupted by a notification from Aurora. 

[Sir, you have a message.] 

"What is it?"

Aurora's voice cut through Evan's concentration. 

[Sir, Noah has invited you to the banquet.] 

Evan looked up, momentarily surprised. "Noah? When did the invitation come?"
