Chapter 99: Mariam's eyes grew dark

Mariam had Stacy tell her exactly what had been going on. First. They went back into Valerie's office and she sat down on Valerie's seat.

Stacy explained to Mariam how Valerie kept straining herself on a daily basis, signing documents after thoroughly reviewing them and clearing up the troubles that Bernard had caused the company.

So many wanted to hold a lunch meeting with Valerie, thinking they could make her humble herself before them in order to gain their favor and clear up the mess smoothly but Valerie did not lower her pride even for a minute.

She rejected all lunch meetings and told them that if they had a problem with the way she would handle the problems, they were free to come over to the company to make their complaints.

Those small companies thought they had the upper hand but Valerie was always a step ahead of them.

"Is that what she has been doing these past few weeks?" Mariam asked and Stacy answered.
