"Why do you want to sell me? You do know that you won't get away with this. Whether my family likes me or not, they will not allow you to go freely once they realise what you did."

Rika threatened the man back with her family and what would happen to him once his crimes were found out.

But to Rika's surprise, the man did not appear the least bit fazed by her threat.

"Ha! Your family can try. But from how they respond, I doubt they will care much for me and what I do. Look! They did not even send anyone after us by now."

That was true.

If it had been any other family, then this duration of time would not have been a big deal. But Rika's family belonged to a mafia. Their response time was quick, and even the most minor threat was dealt with swiftly.
