　　That torrent went on and on. I lay there, holding her, shaking my head- shaking all of myself. I was awed by her power.

　　How had she contained it for so long?

　　I could bust the cap off this mountain if I wanted to. But I didn't.

　　The more I molded the flows, the more I directed them, the easier it became to do so- to use and control them, drawing more and more from her in what seemed to be an endless supply, but eventually, I felt the pressure in her easing.

　　Still, I was stunned by how much she had managed to hold.

　　And I was shocked- and more than a little uneasy- to find that her strength rivaled my own.

　　The zing of alarm that came on the back of that realization made me nervous, so I pushed it away. But I knew the day would come when I would have to figure out how I felt about that.
