Chapter 166: Both Brothers Want Her
Weekend.
Sheng Xiangsi arrived early at the Wenchang Avenue entrance, waiting for Fu Hanjiang to pick her up.
Tonight, the Fu family was going to watch her performance.
Since the show started at 8:20, Fu Mingzhu decided they would first have dinner at Rongfu Restaurant.
Within five minutes, Fu Hanjiang arrived.
As he got out of the car, he looked anxious. "Have you been waiting long?"
"No." Sheng Xiangsi shook her head and got in the car. "I had nothing to do, so I came early. You're so busy, you really don't need to pick me up. I can get there myself."
She had said this on the phone before, but Fu Hanjiang had disagreed.
Hearing her say it again, he looked displeased—it wasn't a matter of need or not.
Fu Hanjiang grasped the car door, frowning slightly. "Xiangsi, I want to pick you up. I should pick you up. Do you understand?"
As her boyfriend, wasn't picking her up a basic duty?
Sheng Xiangsi noticed his displeasure but didn't understand why. She didn't bother to ask.
She nodded perfunctorily. "Understood."

Fu Hanjiang doubted it but closed the car door and drove her to Rongfu Restaurant.

In the private room, Fu Mingzhu and the others had already arrived.
"Xiangsi, come, sit here."
Fu Mingzhu waved to Sheng Xiangsi, pulling her to sit beside her. On the other side was Yao Leyi, while Fu Hanchuan and Fu Hanjiang had to sit further out.
"This is great."
Fu Mingzhu was deeply moved by the fact that the two youngsters had found their way back to each other. "We're destined to be a family! Tonight, we'll enjoy a nice family meal."
Family?
That seemed premature.
Sheng Xiangsi didn't refute but smiled. "I'm in for a treat today. It's been years since I last came to Rongfu."
They used to come often when she was with the Fu family.
Time had flown by.
"Really?"
Hearing this, Fu Mingzhu glared at Fu Hanjiang. "What's the matter with you? Is this how you take care of Xiangsi? You haven't brought her here?"

Fu Hanjiang was tongue-tied, unable to refute.
He had wanted to bring her, but only if she agreed. They had only recently started seeing each other again.
"Don't worry, Grandma. From now on, I'll take Xiangsi wherever she wants to go."
He spoke while glancing at Sheng Xiangsi.
But she seemed oblivious, not even giving him a sidelong glance.
The door opened, and the waiter brought in the food.
"Please enjoy."
As the waiter left, Fu Hanchuan raised his hand towards the rotating dining table.
"Hanchuan?" Yao Leyi was startled, quickly supporting him. "What do you need? I'll get it for you."
"No, it's not that..."
Fu Hanchuan shook his head, rotating the table. He stopped it in front of Sheng Xiangsi and smiled at her.
"Xiangsi, eat more."
Sheng Xiangsi looked down and saw several dishes in front of her: fried gluten, crab roe, braised bamboo shoots... all her favorites.
Brother Hanchuan still remembered her preferences?
Her heart warmed. "Thank you, big brother."
"Mm." Fu Hanchuan smiled warmly, releasing the table.
Beside her, Fu Hanjiang had rolled up his sleeves, first serving her a bowl of soup with several pieces of corn.
He whispered in her ear, "Is it enough? If not, I'll ask them to cook more corn."
It was her staple food.
"It's enough." Sheng Xiangsi stopped him. "There's plenty of food."
"Alright then."
Fu Hanjiang relented, then began peeling shrimp, placing the peeled shrimp into her bowl.
"This won't make you gain weight. Eat as much as you like."
Sheng Xiangsi felt a bit overwhelmed. Her bowl was already filled with food from Fu Mingzhu. "Stop it, or I won't be able to finish, and it'll go to waste."
"No problem." Fu Hanjiang didn't mind. "You eat first. I'll finish what's left."
Then he grinned at her.
Across the table, Yao Leyi watched, feeling left out.
Did anyone in this family still notice her?
Sheng Xiangsi lowered her head to eat, her long hair falling down. Fu Hanjiang gently pushed it back, tucking it behind her ear.
"I can do it myself."
She took a hairband from her bag, gathering her hair and tying it casually.
Yao Leyi's eyes narrowed—the hairband Sheng Xiangsi used was identical to the one Fu Hanjiang had dropped the other day.

She understood now.
So, that hairband belonged to Sheng Xiangsi? Or did Fu Hanjiang buy it for her?
Either way, interesting... very interesting.
When they were almost done eating, Sheng Xiangsi got up to use the restroom.
When she came out, Yao Leyi was at the sink, touching up her makeup.
Sheng Xiangsi ignored her, bending to wash her hands.
"Xiangsi."
Sheng Xiangsi paused, looking at Yao Leyi in confusion. Did she just call her?
"Could you help me?" Yao Leyi smiled, pointing to her makeup bag on the counter. "I need a cotton pad. My lipstick smudged."
She raised her hands, both occupied. "I'm a bit tied up."
Sheng Xiangsi stared at her for two seconds, took a deep breath, and opened the makeup bag.
"There's a small pink pouch in there."
Pink pouch?
Sheng Xiangsi didn't see it. When she opened the makeup bag, she saw a hairband—identical to the one in her hair.
She suddenly looked up, glaring at Yao Leyi.
"Mm?" Yao Leyi feigned innocence. "What's wrong?"
Sheng Xiangsi smirked, realizing Yao Leyi's intention. She wanted her to see this hairband.
She narrowed her eyes, scrutinizing Yao Leyi.
"Why..." Yao Leyi felt uneasy under her gaze. "Are you looking at me like that?"
Sheng Xiangsi smiled slightly, her tone calm. "I admire you. You want both brothers, huh? How do you manage to be so shameless?"
What?
Yao Leyi was stunned, her face turning pale. "Sheng Xiangsi, what nonsense are you spouting?"
Sheng Xiangsi yanked the hairband from her head, holding it up. "You showed me this to tell me you have a special relationship with Fu Hanjiang, right?"
"I..."
Yao Leyi was at a loss for words. That was indeed her intention!
She wanted to make Sheng Xiangsi uncomfortable!

"Tsk."
Sheng Xiangsi's smile grew more mocking. "There's no need for that. I've known about your dirty relationship for years. You don't need to remind me."

With that, she tossed the hairband into the trash bin.
Looking up, she saw Fu Hanjiang standing at the door, having arrived at some point.
