Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Pain Piercing to the Bone
After a bout of violent vomiting, Sheng Xiangsi felt as though she had vomited out her intestines.
Feeling extremely unwell, Sheng Xiangsi went to the hospital.

"Madam, please leave now. Miss Yao could wake up at any time. If she sees you, it won't be good."
"I'll leave now."
Sheng Xiangsi bit her lower lip so hard it started to bleed, but she didn't even notice.
As she walked out of the surgical building, she stopped.
No, she couldn't leave!

She ran, shouting and crying.

But the car drove further away, and finally, as she reached the gate, she slipped and fell to the ground.

After dialing, she hit the call button.
The ringing started, and Sheng Xiangsi held her breath, hoping.
"Hello?"
A woman's voice came from the other end.
Instantly, the light in Sheng Xiangsi's eyes went out.
"Hello, who is this? Say something!"
The woman repeatedly asked, "If you don't talk, I'm hanging up."
The next second, the call ended.
Sheng Xiangsi gripped her phone tightly, biting her lip, tears streaming down uncontrollably—it was foolish of her to make that call!
She threw her phone away, burying her head in the cushion.
The whole night was a blur.
She didn't know when she fell asleep, but when she woke, her head was splitting, and the doorbell was ringing incessantly, each ring more piercing than the last.
Perhaps tired of waiting, the door opened on its own.
Fu Hanjiang, with a grim and handsome face, stepped inside.
