Chapter 24

Jake's POV

My findings about Blakey were correct. She was indeed a member of my pack but she insisted on not telling me her reason for wanting to go to see the past pack members of the Silver Claw Pack. Since these reasons seem convincing enough I gave her permission to go there but under Steel supervision. 

I had stayed away from the pack house for the last few days. I was being pushed to an edge with Anabelle's ranting and Celine tears and I was going back there today because Steel had informed me that he had dropped the files that contain Celine's information in my study.

"Good morning Alpha." The guards greeted me.

I nodded and went inside praying inside my heart that I wouldn't come across shouting and breaking of things I didn't want to kill someone today.

"Jake?" Anabelle rushed to give me a hug.

She frowned when I didn't return her embrace.

"Are you avoiding me?"
