Chapter 8: Emma Frost

A/N: From this moment on, many scenes will take longer. If you dislike reading long chapters filled with reactions… then I recommend you drop this story now. This is how I will write future chapters as I like reading and writing in this style. Yes, I also read my own fics, after all if I can't stomach it why would I share it? To make others suffer? Anyway the story will now get more exciting as more characters will come to play and things will start to get crazy from now on.

On a side note, I will be using *Text* to show inner thoughts, italics don't seem to appear on the chapter, I have no idea why but this is the best solution I can use, unfortunately I have yet to find a way emphasize text in bold. So I would recommend you guys to reread the previous chapters since I did use a fair bit of inner thoughts there. Though I will be editing them in time.

P.S. This is a harem novel so the fact that Emma Frost is the title should already signal her role… or does it?

Cunard Building, New York City.

This historic structure remained unused since the year 2000 save for some of the upper floors, but Giotto, with the help of VEDA 01 was able to purchase the whole iconic structure. Though his purchase did come with a lot of clauses, due to the structure being a landmark property and all.

But Giotto did not mind the stipulations as he had no plans to alter the exterior or interior in any way.

In fact the whole structure was perfect for his plans.

It took Giotto about a week to completely claim the property, an act that did not go unnoticed- to the rich and powerful at least.

During this time, Giotto changed his look, he now wore a casual suit instead of his pinstripe four piece.

This change in his look made his sharp features and toned body stand out. Wherever he goes, he'd attract the gaze of men and women alike. He dressed a lot like Tom Ellis' Lucifer Morningstar, save for his head of messy golden blonde hair.

Now, Giotto, who looked more like a modern entrepreneur and far from the infamous flying mafia don, sat in the Cunard Building's Lobby. In front of him was a young 19 year old woman with long platinum blonde hair.

The woman wore a pure white business suit composed of a white blouse, a high waist tulip mini skirt, white pantyhose, white stockings held up by white suspenders and a white blazer.

She dressed conservatively with lascivious undertones. Her formal wear made her look conservative but the length of her skirt along with the layering of stockings and suspenders would make any self respecting man's thoughts drift off.

Fortunately Giotto's hyper intuition allowed him to get hints on the thoughts of others. Although it was not direct mind reading, he could perceive emotions. This perception allowed him to sense the internal snicker that the woman made when he glanced at her thighs.

Giotto read through the resume that the woman presented him as he used his hyper intuition to test waters.

As he read the resume, he snuck glances at the woman. At one point, the woman spoke about it being a bit hot as she unbuttoned her shirt slightly.

Using this opportunity, Giotto sneaked a few more peaks as he thought-

*This is to see her reaction… Yes, I just want to assess her a bit more…*

As he lied to himself, Giotto then placed the resume down. Looked over the woman with up and down before speaking.

"Miss Frost, I believe you are truly a talented young lady. Your resume shows that you have great leadership talent, the student organizations you have founded and led have done a lot for the city of New York."

Giotto paused, he stood up and walked towards the nearby window. He looked out towards the busy streets of Manhattan before turning back to the young lady with the surname Frost. He unbuttoned the top two buttons of his dress shirt slightly revealing his toned chest.

His actions caused the young lady to gulp down nervously as a slight shiver ran down her spine.

Noticing her reaction Giotto walked behind Frost as he leaned towards her, his lips right beside her ears then whispered.

"So Miss Emma Frost, why did you decide to forgo college and instead decide to seduce your way into some young richman's inner circle?"

Giotto's words caused the woman to stiffen, seeing her reaction Giotto snickered as he straightened his back, fixed up his appearance as he returned to his original position.

*Emma Frost, the omega level telepath and an alpha level mutant. Her character was the most fleshed out and consistent in the series. Her images and depictions were pretty lewd but her CONSISTENT backstory was what made her act and dress the way she does.

I really want to see what type of character this world's Emma Frost has, now that mutants don't exist.*

As Giotto sat there waiting for Emma to answer, Emma herself was doing her best to hide her own panic. A weird silence was created between the two, the Cunard Building, once it became the property of Giotto was empty and the only people who could enter were Giotto and those he allowed to enter.

This created a situation where the silence between Giotto and Emma was extra heavy, the only sounds available were the faint noises coming from the streets of Manhattan.

Seeing that Emma did not know how to answer due to her nervousness and panic, Giotto sighed as he spoke.

"Emma Frost, 19 years old, graduated from a high class all girls school. Top of her class, a good leader, born into an upper class family. Her brother was diagnosed with mental illness and due to substance abuse was sent to a mental hospital-"

Giotto raised his eyes and met gazes with Emma who had a look of shock on her face as she stared at him wide eyed.

"Her father chose her to take over the family business over her sister who disappeared mysteriously alongside her mother. She felt her father had different motives with how he acted and chose to run away. Now, without her fathers support she chose to take advantage of a young up and coming business man who looks to have great prospects. Am I correct, Miss Frost?"

In fact Giotto had long known about Emma, the moment he received the application letter from her he did a deep dive on her identity using VEDA.

After all, despite knowing that this was the MCU, he did not believe that the name Emma Frost did not relate in any way to the X-men villain from other universes.

With that he found out about the similar yet slightly different backstory of this world's Emma Frost.

Unlike the previous Emma Frost who suffered from hearing the lascivious thoughts of men through her power. This world's Emma Frost suffered more physical and REAL abuse.

Giotto did not say it but he knew of the reasons why Emma built her organizations which were all women support groups.

*Her male instructors tried to do some unsavory acts towards her. She was the victim of public harassment and even her father had a history of sexual crimes against minors… I only hope that she was not abused in THAT way by her father…*

With such thoughts Giotto watched as Emma's expression shifted constantly. Using his hyper intuition he felt her conflicting emotions. Giotto did not want to invest too much into Emma Frost, as much as he loved her character in his previous life, the Emma in front of him was far from the strong willed and driven woman he respected.

But as he sensed her rapidly shifting emotions, the heavy weight of her emotions seemed to affect Giotto as he contemplated deeply for a minute.

*I know I'm gonna regret this… but-*

With a sigh Giotto stood up and left the room.

Emma watched as Giotto left the room, the handsome young man had a look of resignation plastered on his face as he left the lobby and entered the room adjacent to this.

*I… I was already prepared for this! Rather than be taken advantage of by my own father, to become a sexual tool of some old motherfuckers, I'd rather seduce a young rich man… at least I could also enjoy the relationship…*

The young Emma looked at her resume that was neatly placed on the table. Recalling how Giotto acted she tried to calm herself. As she did she realized something about Giotto.

*Wait… his actions he… he was faking it! That's it! He knew about me from the start… but then why did he- no it can't be!*

As she realized how Giotto may have been acting out being a pervert. Emma began to think about the whole situation, the young man's words and his actions replaying in her mind.

Realizing that she was played into a trap she developed a slight interest towards Giotto. Emma was not inherently narcissistic but her experiences made her develop a certain image of herself.

Unlike other women who may have experienced one or two problems with perverts, Emma had gone through tough encounters. These did not end with simple staring either. Some tried to assault her, others groped her, some even got an opportunity to pin her up against a wall.

Although Emma was never truly raped or abused, attempts were made towards her causing her to think all men wanted was to fuck her.

Normally she would see assume that all men think about was fucking women, but she knew that compared to other girls, even the pretty ones, her experiences were just too- extreme.

Because of this, all her organization and support groups were nothing more than shields she created for herself. On paper she was fighting for women's rights and to protect women and children. But in reality she just wanted to increase her own image, the more people know about her the less likely anyone would try to attack her.

Through this Emma was able to resolve the attacks, few people tried to make a move on her. But this made all future attempts towards her even more traumatic than before.

If force was not possible, other methods were employed. Emma experienced first hand how a kind teacher turned to a pervert forcing his student into a bathroom stall. Fortunately she never let down her guard as she always carried with her a taser.

But soon things just spiraled out of control, her brother who always protected her was suddenly abused by her father for being gay. She knew her brother was not gay as he had a girlfriend who was her best friend.

Though she was unable to do anything as her brother was taken to a mental asylum, her mother and sister who also protected her suddenly vanished. They went on a vacation to Guam and never returned.

Emma is a smart girl and she knew something was up and that was when she heard her father talking on the phone.

Her father was speaking with his business partners, but, instead of business they were talking about her. Her father, the man she thought would protect her was not only selling her off, he was also planning to take away her "first time".

Upon hearing her father talk about how he would "treat" his daughter, Emma decided to run away.

She informed the police and used her connections and organization to protect herself against her father and his friends.

Unfortunately her father and his friends were all powerful people, despite her actions she found herself becoming another "rabid feminist". There would always be people who opposed certain ideals and her father and his friends used this demographic to lay waste on her organization.

Although her organization had more support, her opposition was supported by powerful men who were either deluded to see her as a crazy woman or allies of her father wanting to take advantage of her.

As much as Emma wanted to speak against her father directly, she herself knew that even her own actions were selfish. She took on the mantle of leader and organized a feminist movement not because she genuinely felt that women were oppressed.

No, Emma just wanted to protect herself and speaking against her father and his co-conspirators would just be simple hypocrisy.

Although she was willing to use any means necessary to reach her goal, Emma inherently had a righteous outlook to things.

She spent months hiding and running but as she was hiding she caught wind of Giotto.

At first she saw him as just another pervert with money and power, but when she did some digging she realized that Giotto was not a rich playboy but more an enigma.

It was like he appeared out of thin air and no one bothered.

Emma wanted to keep her distance but as her fathers clutches slowly closed in on her, she made the decision to use her appeals to her advantage.

But all her plans and decisions led to the current situation, right now she was blankly staring at the coffee table before her. She was waiting, waiting for Giotto to come back, in her mind she was expecting him to return in a bath towel or simply call for her to follow him into the room next door.

Though in the back of her mind the image of Giotto returning with her father popped up from time to time.

Emma was in a state of turmoil as she prepared for any unfortunate fate she would end up facing. She was already out of options, her organization was slowly losing strength, support was declining as pressure from business magnates forced her supporters to quiet down.

As her thoughts spun rapidly the door opened and Giotto returned, but to her shock and disbelief, the young man returned not naked or wearing a robe. He did not have her father by his side or anything like that.

Instead the young man came into the lobby bringing with him a tray, on it was a golden emblem, a shell with wings, two crossed rifles and a shield with a bullet on it. Below all these weird images was a single word-

*Vongola?*
