Chapter 1: The Terrifying Ghost Ship to Hell, William [First Update, Seeking Support]

"Ahh..."

In the Sea Circle calendar year 1515.

The first half of the Grand Line.

The Devil's Sea was perpetually shrouded in fog, never seeing the light of the sun.

An enormous galleon ship was anchored there.

It was pervaded by a chilling, bone-chilling atmosphere.

Truly heart-wrenching.

"Damn it!!"

In the present time.

Inside a European-style castle.

The nearly seven meter tall Gecko Moria, with his enormous and bloated physique, clutched his abdomen in agony. Beads of cold sweat dotted his forehead. He felt searing pain coursing through his powerless body as he angrily glared at the frail, mummy-like figure before him. Radiating fury, resentment and murderous intent, he growled, "Just who are you?"

"Hey Moria, you forgot me already?" The mummified being revealed a sinister smile. He slowly began unwrapping the bandages from his body, revealing a rather scrawny figure beneath.

"You are..." Moria's pupils contracted sharply as he stared at the other party.

But in the blink of an eye, that seemingly frail figure clenched his fists and muttered in a low voice, "Life Return, Release!"

"Crack...crack..." The sound of bones cracking resonated from his entire body as his frame rapidly expanded before Moria's eyes.

He transformed into a strapping black-haired youth around three meters tall, with an exceptionally muscular build and handsome features. Despite appearing only sixteen or seventeen years old, he exuded a youthful vigor and robustness.

"You bastard...William?" Moria's eyes bulged as he gritted his teeth. How could he not recognize this young man? Just a few days prior, he had taken this very person's shadow. But even more shockingly was this guy's true identity - William Obask, the "Black Jail", renowned as one of the greatest geniuses of CP9 in 800 years, rivaling Rob Lucci himself.

Half a month ago, for unknown reasons, William had suddenly killed his superior at CP9 and defected, prompting the World Government to place an enormous bounty of 200 million berries on his head. Unfortunately, he had stumbled into the Florian Triangle and been attacked by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Utilizing his Shadow Shadow Fruit abilities, Moria had defeated him and stolen his shadow, creating the strongest zombie in 800 years - Oz the Demon King.

What truly astounded Moria was that this brainwashed lapdog of the World Government possessed the exceedingly rare ability of Conqueror's Haki. He thought he had sufficiently underestimated William's threat by shackling his limbs and imprisoning him in the castle's dungeon to prevent any mischief. Yet the Black Jail William had easily escaped these bonds, disguising himself as a zombie to unleash a devious plot against the Seven Warlords.

"Shadow Magician..." Suddenly, just as Moria was about to use his powers, his expression contorted drastically. His Shadow Fruit ability was unable to activate. At first, he only felt weak from the poisoning. "Is this...seastone?"

He realized, glancing at the scattered fruit platter on the floor, he glared at William furiously, full of despair as his heart sank. "You guys...actually put seastone in the food?"

"I have to say being too overconfident comes with risks!" Obask William looked directly at the weakened, almost tiny-seeming Moria, saying sarcastically, "If you want to blame someone, it's because you were too conceited. You really thought by just restraining your limbs, you could not only reclaim the life you controlled, but also keep me, a capable operative, trapped?"

"I am a killing machine trained by the World Government, a senior agent specializing in assassination missions! What if I let you create the strongest zombie with my shadow? I didn't need to fight that thing to the end to get my shadow back!"

His tone was full of playful mockery. William had poisoned the overconfident Gecko Moria with a specially prepared toxin, completely nullifying his abilities. And in that very fruit platter, he had deliberately hidden pieces of seastone within the fruit. Originally irregular chunks, the seastone was better suited than smaller grains - he normally carried it embedded in a ring to deal with Devil Fruit users.

He had carefully extracted the seastone and concealed it in the fruit platter. The over seven meter tall Moria, reduced to a miniature giant, had ravenously devoured everything without the slightest vigilance. Had he been more cautious, William's scheme may not have succeeded so easily. But Gecko Moria had grown far too complacent in his comfort, his arrogance causing him to miss the obvious threat right before his eyes.

"Oh, I forgot to mention..." William twisted his neck and sneered, "I've already subdued three of your subordinates!"

He had made thorough preparations regarding Moria's three cohorts. The "Ghost Princess" Perona had been knocked out with drugs. Absalom was similarly unconscious, bound in seastone shackles and disguised as a corpse locked in the cellar. As for the low-level combatant Dr. Hogback, who lacked Devil Fruit powers, William had caught the surgeon off-guard and rendered him unconscious before tying him up in his bedroom.

"You asshole, get over here..." Moria's face was livid as he shouted out. Feeling numb throughout his body, abdominal cramps gripping him as cold sweat poured out. Just as he braced to lunge at Obask William, he couldn't help but stumble and drop to one knee, vomiting blood as his pallor visibly drained.

"Stop screaming, it's useless..." William looked at him with contempt. "All the zombies in this castle were tricked by me to go to the church under the pretense that Absalom was hosting a wedding ceremony with a beautiful woman he captured, requiring all zombies to attend!"

With his elite CP9 training in disguise, impersonation and infiltration, deceiving the mentally vacant zombies was child's play. Absalom, one of Moria's three freakish subordinates with the Paramecia Invisible Fruit ability, was an incurable lecher. However, his monstrous appearance meant no woman could stand his sight, prompting him to undergo Dr. Hogback's surgery to transform between human and invisible spirit forms in hopes of stealing brides.

So the prospect of Absalom actually marrying a captured beauty was enough for the zombies to wholeheartedly believe William's deception without an ounce of suspicion.

"Oz, come back here!!!" Moria screamed and struggled in vain.

"It's too late...I won't give you that chance!" William's eyes flashed with murderous intent as he decisively rushed forward. "Thanks to you, I was worried Oz's giant form might damage this terrifying ship, so I arranged for our fight elsewhere!"

"Chi--" In an instant, William unleashed a ruthless assault. "Finger Pistol Gatling!" The index finger of his right hand stretched out, striking with lightning speed.

"Whoosh, whoosh..." He relentlessly pummeled and tore apart Gecko Moria's body in a hail of finger bullets.

"Ahhhh..."
