While I was saying goodbye to Suyuki, Korra and Katara had already flown to the mainland, I found them in the nearest town. The town was named after Chin the Conqueror, this is the place where he was killed by Kyoshi, there's even a statue of this Chin that briefly tells how the greatest warlord was sneakily killed by the evil Avatar Kyoshi... apparently it's not a good idea to tell the residents here that Korra is an Avatar.

- You're the prince of the Fire Nation! - Katara poked me in the chest when I met her.

- I decided to tell her. - And Katara is mildly surprised.

- Well, yes, I'm a bit of a Fire Nation prince, and everyone has their faults. - I replied, 'So, Katara you have now decided to refuse my help?

- Yes, thank you for taking us to the Earth Kingdom, we will continue without you, and you can go back to Suyuki. - Korra looked at me sternly and stood beside her sister, ''Bing Xi Feng I persuaded to help us, so we can do without you.

- Yes, Prince, you can go to Suyuki. - Katara said, and it wasn't clear whether she was more angry that I was the prince of the Fire Nation or that I was dating Suyuki.

- Hmm... okay, I won't insist. - I raised my hands and walked out of town, soon to be joined on my shoulder by Bing Xi Feng.

- Well, you don't mind if I look after the Avatar, do you? You don't need my help. - Bing said, 'I've decided to become the Guardian Spirit of Korra.

- I don't mind, but don't let those two fools get into trouble, because they've only just come from the South Pole, and they're no harder to fool than normal children. - I stroked Bing, and she flew back to Korra and Katara.

I decided to follow the two sisters for now, if they didn't need my help within a month, I would go to Suyuki and spend time among the Kyoshi Warriors... maybe I could turn them all into my harem.

Judging by the vector of movement, Korra had decided to go to the North Pole to learn Water Magic from the masters of the Northern Tribe. From Chin City to the North Pole was more than ten thousand kilometres, with Bing's help she would be able to reach the destination in about a week, but in warmer regions it would be harder for the ice phoenix to fly, so she would have to make rest stops.

While Korra, Katara and Bing were travelling north, I was practicing Lava Magic on the side, Kyoshi style movements helped me to turn the soil into magma in a few moments, metal also melted faster with these movements and in general I was busy practicing magic. The kingdom of Earth is very large, there are not many inhabited places, so I could easily play with dangerous lava without disturbing anyone.

On the fourth day of the flight to the north, the travellers stopped in the forest to rest and sleep for the night, and there was a group of Fire Nation soldiers, they were in this forest to catch partisans of the Earth Kingdom, and found Korra and Katara. Of course, they had a battle, and to the two sisters came to the aid of those 'partisans of the Earth Kingdom', in fact turned out to be a group of teenage orphans that lost their families and homes from the Fire Nation soldiers, and now they are hiding in the forest and killing people Fire Nation.

This group of teenagers could successfully fight the regular Fire Nation soldiers, they called themselves 'Freedom Fighters' and this gang consisted of six people. The leader was a charismatic, rather smarmy guy named Jet, who was quite skilled at fighting with two sword-hooks. The second member of the group was a girl who looked like a bloke, her name was Smellerby, she was a dagger wielder. The third was a silent chap in a straw hat called Longshot, who was a master of the bow. The next two were Pipsqueak and Snirs, both of whom were rather large fellows, one of them using a club made of a whole tree trunk. The last member of the group was a small boy named Duke, he was new to the group and didn't know how to fight.

The freedom fighters quickly dealt with the soldiers who had attacked Korra and Katara, and when they saw Korra using several elements at once, they recognised her as the Avatar. Jett decided to invite the sisters to the Freedom Fighters' lair, and they gladly agreed. Their lair was in the crown of a huge oak tree, where they had built a few houses on the branches, and it was impossible to see their lair from the ground.

Jett took a liking to Korra and Katara, especially Katara, and the girls easily agreed to fulfil his small request, which Jett said would help them in their fight against the Fire Nation. In honour of the Avatar and her sister, the Freedom Fighters held a feast where Jett wooed Korra and Katara, and the next day, he took the sisters to a shallow river and asked them to use Water Magic to fill the river with water from underground springs nearby. Korra and Katara began using Water Magic on the underground springs without any questions asked, and soon streams of water flowed from them, beginning to fill the river, and this river flowed into the reservoir, which with Korra and Katara's help was now filled to the top.

While the girls were busy, the rest of the Freedom Fighters mined the dam of the reservoir, and when Korra and Katara came to tell Jett that they had successfully completed his request, he led them to a ledge where the dam with the reservoir was visible, and a little further on was the town of Gaipan, already occupied by the Fire Nation for ten years. With a wave of his hand, Jet gave the command to Longshot, and he fired a torched arrow into the barrels of explosive tar. The dam burst, and the water collapsed, releasing a huge wave of water that washed over the city, where, in addition to the Fire Nation soldiers, thousands of Earth Kingdom civilians lived. Jett himself had once lived in this city, and his parents had died during the takeover of the city, but now Jett decided to free his hometown from the Fire Nation's people in this way... he wasn't interested in casualties among the rest of the population, because you can't win a war without casualties. That's what Jet told a shocked Korra and Katara, who realised they had been used to destroy an entire city.

- Bing! - I shouted as I landed in front of the wave coming towards the city and used Ice Magic to its fullest, but my strength was only enough to quickly freeze the front of the wave, creating a barrier of ice for the rest of the wave. But together with Bing Xi Feng, we froze the entire mass of water in a matter of seconds, and soon the danger was eliminated. Now this huge iceberg would melt little by little, and would not be able to destroy anything.

After the intervention, I disappeared again from Korra and Katara's horizon, at this time the sisters wanted to teach Jet a lesson for using them, and Jet attacked the girls without any remorse, trying to kill them with his swords... against two Water Mages he had no chance, and their battle was over quickly. The sisters froze Jet to a tree, beat him up a bit, and decided to immediately fly further north, today had taught them a lesson that you can't trust every pretty boy you meet.

Further north on the continent were the uninhabited mountains, the Air Nomads used to live amongst these mountains, it was here that the Northern Air Temple was built. Korra and Katara would not benefit from flying towards these mountains, otherwise they would have to sleep in the mountains, but if they flew a little to the left, they would continue to fly over the inhabited part of the continent, and could stop for the night near the cities and replenish their provisions there. They stopped near the city of Makapu, and almost immediately a man came out and invited the Avatar to spend the night in the city. The man told them that the Avatar's arrival had been predicted by 'Auntie Wu', a local fortune teller whose predictions always come true, and that everyone in the town always listened to her advice.

The town of Makapu was small, and was located at the foot of a volcano, something it reminded me of home... probably the huge volcano.

The girls spent the night in the town and decided to go to Auntie Wu's house to see me, Katara chose to ignore me and went to Auntie Wu's house, while Korra still came over to say hello.

- Hela... thanks for your help, there at the dam... Katara and I were clearly foolish to trust Jett. - Korra said.

- Oh, it's nothing, I was just saving the people you put in danger by trusting handsome Jett, whose words you fell for and went off to help flood the city.

- So Katara was right, you're watching us... then why didn't you prevent the dam from exploding? - Korra asked a question.

- It was to make the consequences of your actions clearer, if I had come in earlier and said that Jet wanted to use you, you wouldn't have believed me... tell me I'm wrong? - I looked at Korra, and she looked away, 'That's right. Okay, I decided to go see 'Auntie Wu' too, I'm curious to see what she has to say about the near future. - I went to the house where Katara had just entered.

Katara herself is probably already receiving Auntie Wu, and in the waiting room, we were met by a funny young girl, her hair was braided into two pigtails that for some reason stuck out in different directions, she was Auntie Wu's assistant, and offered us drinks and cakes while we were waiting for our turn. She also asked me to show my ears, which were hidden under my hair for some reason, and to the obvious question, 'Why?', the girl called Meng said that Auntie Wu had predicted that her husband would have a lob ear.

- My ears are fine. - I showed them to her, and then Katara and Auntie Wu came out. The fortune teller herself looked like an old woman with grey hair, nothing supernatural about her appearance.

- Katara, what is it? - Korra asked her sister.

- Well, I asked about my future husband, and it was predicted that I would marry a man who decides his own fate. I have no idea what that means, but he's supposed to be a very powerful mage, and we'll have a daughter together. - replied Katara.

- Who's next? - Auntie Wu asked, and looked at me and Katara.

- I'll do it. - I approached the fortune-teller.

- A hand, please. - She asked, and when I gave her my hand, she looked at it sceptically, and took the other one, - How am I supposed to read your fortune? - Auntie Wu asked.

- What is it? - Corra inquired.

- Here. - The fortune teller showed me my palms, - They are clean and perfectly smooth.

- Aha, it's from the technique of reactive flame, I often burned the skin on my palms when I was training it, and it was more than once, so now the whole pattern on my palms has been erased.

- Well, then I can't predict your fate from the palm of my hand... you can also try to predict it from burning bones. - Auntie Wu suggested

- No thanks, I burnt my knuckle once when I was a kid, I didn't really like it, so I'll do without fortune telling, especially I didn't come here for that. I wanted to know about the volcano, do you think it will erupt soon? - I asked a question, pointing to the window, where the volcano was visible.

- About the volcano I will give a prediction today at noon in the town square, for predicting weather and natural disasters I use clouds. - replied Auntie Wu

- Well, okay, I will come to the square at noon. - I nodded and left the house, and Korra came to Auntie Wu.

- What do you want to know? - The fortune teller took Korra's hand.

- Well, it is possible, as well as my sister, about my future husband. - Korra asked.

- I see... I see that you will marry a prince. - said Auntie Wu.

- Ha ha. - came from behind the door, it was me eavesdropping and I couldn't help myself, but when sharp icicles flew at the door, I stopped eavesdropping.

While the sisters were at Auntie Wu's, Bing flew in and decided to go to the market with me. I had some Fire Nation money I had found on a derelict ship, I had nowhere to spend it, so I spent it on sweets for Bing and some for myself to brighten up the wait until noon.

When people began to gather in the square, I realised it was time for the public predictions. Korra and Katara also came to the square and bought some sweets and waited for Auntie Wu's arrival, eating sweet balls on skewers.

- Hela, why are you interested in that volcano? Do you think it's going to erupt soon? - Korra asked.

- I'm a Temperature Mage who is trained to control lava, I know for a fact that that volcano is about to erupt, and I'm wondering what Auntie Wu will predict.

- And how did you determine that it will erupt soon? - Katara asked.

- I literally see heat, even if I close my eyes, I can still navigate by switching to heat vision. - I closed my eyes, and dodged a couple of blows that Korra gave me to test, - So, now I see that the mountain is blazing hot, and this heat is almost reached the top of the volcano, and soon will begin to come out in the form of streams of red-hot lava.

- Well, that's what you think, now let's hear from someone more experienced in prediction. - Katara pointed to Auntie Wu, who had finally arrived at the square. She started looking at the clouds, looked into a book, and gave out predictions like - a cloud in the shape of an arrow means the harvest will be good, and at the end, she looked at a cloud in the shape of a lion, and said that the volcano will not erupt this year.

- Yep, it won't erupt this year, it will erupt in the next few days. - I commented.

- Auntie Wu's predictions are always accurate, so there won't be any eruption. - remarked Katara.

- Well, it's easy to check, you just need to climb the volcano, and look into its vent, if it is boiling lava, then there will be an eruption, and if the vent is covered with crust, then the volcano is asleep. Do you want to bet on something? - I offered.

- I agree, if you're wrong and the volcano is asleep, then you'll leave Suyuki. - Katara held out her hand.

- And if I'm right, then... you and Korra will kiss, only for a very long time, the kiss should be for about ten minutes, and definitely with tongue. - I shook Katara's hand to confirm the argument.

- What kind of stupid wish is that? - Katara asked.

- Well, I could wish to kiss both of you, but you'd probably refuse anyway, and I don't want to cheat on Suyuki, but if the two girls I want to kiss but can't, kiss each other and I can watch, that would be a good option.

- Katara, let's next time, don't take any arguments without my consent. - remarked Korra, -Bing, can you take us to the top of the volcano? - Korra asked Bing Si Feng.

- No, of course not. Hela is right, the volcano should be erupting soon, I can feel its heat from here. Let me remind you, I'm an ice phoenix, and ice melts near lava. - replied Bing.

- Um... - Katara looked at me awkwardly, - Well, can you at least fly over the volcano so that we can see its vent from the air? - asked the youngest of the sisters.

- Have you ever seen volcanoes erupt? They can explode at any moment, throwing a cloud of hot ash into the sky, I will fly over the volcano with you, it will explode and we will all die... no, I will not do such a stupid thing. If you want, you go to the volcano, I will stay away from it. - said Bing Xi Feng, looking at the volcano.

- Well, let's walk to the volcano. - Or you can concede defeat and start kissing right now.

- Come on, Korra. - Katara took her sister and pulled her towards the volcano, and I followed.
