Few days later.
Astraea Familia, continuing their patrol and ventures to the dungeons these past day after Kaguya announced the arrival of his adopted brother. Everyone is going as usual and by their routines. But Kaguya is not, because today is the day that Satoru will arrive.
Kaguya Went to the east side gate of Orario, waiting with Alise beside her while eating on some fried potatoes.
Alise: "I guess it'll take him a bit more time before your brother arrives, You didn't really explained your brother well to us. What's he like, Kaguya?" She asked.
Kaguya looked at her as she ponders on her question. She too thinks of what's the best way to describe Satoru as well.
Kaguya: "While leaving aside his looks. I guess you can say that my brother is really gifted. Not just gifted, but gifted gifted. He's like the incarnation of talent and skills. The people around the mansion told us that the power balance of the world was shifted the day he was born. But it's not like they knew it, he wasn't even in the capital till he was 12 years old." She stated.
She finished up her Potato before continuing the story.
Kaguya: "He quickly gained attention by outperforming the adults and the strongest members of the Amaterasu Familia, that's why Amaterasu-sama was so fixated on him, spoiling him to the point of no return. Then other elders calling him the Blindfolded Idiot. Mostly because of his carefree, nonchalant and playful attitude, You can't see him get serious that much and he exudes confidence... But they call him arrogant."
Alise giggles at her last statement, She also finished up her Potato and asked.
Alise: "Sounds like a handful person to me."
Kaguya: "He is... But they can't deny about his strength, skills, and abilities. People at the capital wants him to stay there as the guardian of the east. Thus he was adopted to the Gojouno Family... By winning of Rock Paper Scissors."
Alise: "That's a pain huh. Well, this skills does he have? What is he good in? Sword? Bow? Magic?" She asked with eyes full of curiosity
Kaguya: "He is good with hand to hand combat and martial arts, but what outshine those are his mysterious skills. Techniques as he calls it. He has abilities that cannot be explained by everyone! Even his bright blue eyes is part of it. His real eye color is unknown to me, but old man Shinomiya probably knows about it.
There is also his one time where he-" Bu Kaguya paused on her words as she stared behind Alise. Her looks is filled with hate and annoyance.
Then a voice is heard by the two ladies. A voice with a nasty tone and filled with mockery.
Jura: "Well Well Well~ If it isn't the bitches of the Astraea Familia. You two going on a date here? I thought you all are busy trying to circle the whole town acting like you serve justice everywhere!"
Jura Halmer. A level 2 member of the Rudra Familia. The Rudra and Astraea Familia has been going on with each other's throats all the time. While the Astraea Familia knew that the Rudra Familia has been doing some shady and illegal deals in and out of Orario, they can't prove it.
Alise and Kaguya shared their looks of hate with the group that went along Jura. It also has some of the members of the Ikelos Familia. Especially their Captain Dix Perdix, a Level 3 Spear user. He is also one despicable bastard as well.
Kaguya: "I wondered why the filthy stench was coming in strong. Looks like there can only be a few people who has it's disgusting smell everywhere they go."
Jura: "Aw, is that the best you can? Looks like your brain also closed just like your eyes." Jura said as he did his best to irritate Kaguya.
Alise: "Enough. What do you want, Jura? I see that you are not alone again, always a coward to banter without backup audience, you are." Alise said in an condescending voice.
Jura smirked and was about to continue taunting the two. But then, another voice spoke and stopped Jura on his snarky comebacks.
He wore googles with translucent smoky quartz lenses, a slightly dirty battle cloth, and a large battle knife that could pass as a short sword. He later wielded a red spear imbued with a curse.
Dix Perdix, a level 4 Captain of the Ikelos Familia.
Dix: "As much as I want to let you both rip the throat from each other, We have to focus on the shipments that is arriving today. We have to finish our job with haste. I can't wait to get back to my work."
Dix said as he glanced at the two ladies. His eyes brimming with bloodlust and aura. Alise and Kaguya returned the gaze but Dix wasn't affected by it. He was a middle class Level 4 and can handle off both Kaguya and Alise at the same time so he wasn't concerned much.
Alise and Kaguya is at a disadvantage. If this banter were to break out, they will surely wont escape unscathed. After all, no only did the two familia have the current strength to hold them both down, but also has the numbers to tire them out.
Kaguya calmed herself as well. Because she knows that they're currently in a losing side.
Jura: "Aw come on, Dix. Live a little~ Toying with the bitches of the Astraea Familia, the so-called justice familia of Orario, is very fun ya know~."
Kaguya is starting to burn inside, as well as Alise due to Jura's remarks.
Jura: "I don't even know what's so special about these fake justice bringer. I guess the whole familia itself is crooked in the head! HAHAHAHA!"
Everyone laughed along with Jura. Laughing at the face of the Captain, and Vice Captain of the Astraea Familia. They riled up and laugh and laugh their ass off to the two person in front of them.
Alise: "Kaguya, I think it's better for us to change position to wait for your brother. It's better to get away from here before they start a fight."
Kaguya sighed and follows Alise's footstep, both leaving their spot and decided to wait somewhere else. But as Jura sees this, he frowns in annoyance.
Jura: "Leavin' so soon? I guess the little chicks from the Justice Familia couldn't handle a few words from little ol' me~! I guess everyone in your familia, from the weakest to the head of the Familia. Walks away like a coward."
Jura... Overstepped. He deliberately included the Goddess of Alise and Kaguya. Both of the girls halts from walking as they heard it immediately. While they can handle the insults for them, they cannot tolerate those who spoke ill of the Goddess who they worship.
Astraea is not to be mentioned in ill ways in front of her children.
Kaguya grabbed her blade and entered a stance, while Alise ook out her rapier and points it to Jura.
Alise: "Jura, You don't realize your place much huh! Just because you desperately want our attention that much, You sullies my Goddess's name with that mouth of yours." Alise states
Alise is a kind and carefree person, but there are times that she's serious, especially if the people she cares about is involved. Goddess Astraea is on another level too. Jura shudders at the sudden threats. He growled as he also draws his short sword. Everyone there also draws their weapons, but Dix only watched them from the side.
Jura: "T-There's the bitches that I knew! Then, wanna come and have a taste!?"
A blatant attempt to get Alise to attack first. After all, those who threw the first punch, is moslty in the wrong after all. The spectators who sense the danger of Adventurers fighting on the road, immediately evacuated from the area and tried to find some Ganesha Familia members to stop the fight that was about to happen.
Kaguya is readying her stance as Alise contemplates on her actions. After all, is it worth the risk that she'll do?
Alise: 'They insulted Astraea-sama... But if I do this, she will definitely will me much more disappointed with me. I need to calm myself down and think this through naturally.'
Jura: "Not gonna attack? I knew you all were just all bark! You disgusting hypocrites! I can't believe you both carry the name of justice for nothing! HAHAHAHAHAH!"
Alise gritted his teeth at Jura's words. Kaguya just observes as she prepares for any surprise moves. And there it was, a direct attack from the opposite party. An arrow went straight for Alise.
Alise swiftly blocked the Arrow and detected the person who shot it, it was from the far back of the opposite party's line of formation. Now that the Rudra Familia threw the first shot as to Jura's dismay, it was enough reason for Alise and Kaguya to charge at them.
The Rudra Familia also charges at the Two adventurers! Alise quickly brought down 2 and started to clash with a 2-handed sword user. While Kaguya swiftly evades all incoming attacks and clashed with the blades of the Rudra members. All while blocking and dodging the arrows that's coming from the back.
The Ikelos Familia smirked as they watched the two familias fueded on each other as their entertainment. Alise and Kaguya are handling it much pretty well despite being outnumbered. Mostly because their opponents were all Level 2s and Level 1s. But their concerns lies with the Red Spear user on the side, leaning on the Wall.
Dix is just watching them on the side with his usual smile of disdain. Alise and Kaguya immediately finished up their fights. Despite being Level 3s, handling a bunch of Level 2s and 1s is still a work for them. Jura is angered by the weakness of his familia members.
Jura: "Oi, Dix! Are you just gonna stand there! We had a deal remember that!"
Jura shouted at the leaning man. While Dix doesn't want to bother on it too much, he grabbed his spear and released his killing intent. Alise and Kaguya is still catching up with their breaths from the fight they just finished, now they're about to fight someone who's more cruel and stronger than both of them.
Kaguya: "Alise... Can you still dance?" Kaguya asked as she entered her quick-draw stance.
Alise: "Of course! I can dance this all day long... Still, it's better to be extra careful this time. After al, it is said that Dix, the Captain of the Ikelos Familia, is a cruel, no remorse person who wont even spare a member of his own familia if they made a mistake."
Kaguya: "I know. Heck, Even I doubt our chances of defeating this filthy mongrel."
Dix: "Well, as much as I hate to ruin the fun, it's better for the both of you to disappear right now. After all, you both meddled with the wrong group, as always. Now... TAKE THIS!"
Dix dashed with a speed of a level 4 at the two of them. He swung his spear and blasted the two to the house and carriages behind them! It was a fast and swift attack with streangth that Alise and Kaguya barely taken head on.
Alise and Kaguya is struggling with the sudden attack and is stumbling at the moment. Jura saw this opportunity and tried to attack before they gain back their balance. He threw his short blade to Kaguya as the archer at the back shot an arrow to Alise.
Alise quickly grabbed back her rapier and deflected the arrow, while Kaguya tried using her Kodachi Futaba to try and block the short sword. But she was slowed by the numbness of her hand due to Dix's attack. She is force to cover her head with her hands to stop the short sword.
But in an instant, the short sword was destroyed immediately. The surrounding in front of Kaguya was astonishing. It was all slash marks all over in a straight line. Like a sword that was swung swiftly repeatedly in front of her.
Kaguya: "This... This power!" She then turns his head as she senses another presence.
Jura: "What the hell was that!?"
Dix: "!!!"
Alise, Kaguya, Jura and Dix. All turns their heads to the person sitting at a chair in the middle of the road. Everyone is surprised by the appearance of this mysterious man.
Especially Dix... He didn't realizes that there was another person so closed to him! He just noticed the moment the man did something to destroy Jura's short sword.
There the man sat, He is a very tall, lean and muscular man who is in his late twenties and is considered relatively attractive, mainly due to his facial features. He has snow-white hair and the Six Eyes, which are a vibrant blue color. The man covers his eyes with a black blindfold which props up his hair and gives it a spikier appearances.
Satoru: "Kaguya-chan~ You cryin?" He said in a confident tone, smiling as he stood up from the chair and walks towards Kaguya. Alise, who was dumbfounded, realized that this was the man Kaguya is talking about. Her Adopted Brother.
Kaguya: "Why the hell would I be crying?! You are always late you know!" Kaguya said as she forcefully stood up with her wobbling legs. Alise also stood up and starts to walk to the both of them.
Dix is still standing still as he observes the man who appears. Still confused about him
Satoru: "I wasn't late, I was here watching you guys fight you know. And I must say, you improved really well~ You're not the little pipsqueak that I used to tease all the time, HAHAHAHAHAH!" He said as he ruffles Kaguya's hair.
Satoru: "Still. It was a fair game from what I see, until a third party got involve." He states as he turns his head a bit to Dix.
Dix, who felt that killing intent, swiftly draws his spear and points it to Satoru.
Satoru: "I can't just let you go after interrupting their fight, and blasting Kaguya away. It stains my big brother reputation."
Satoru takes one step before speed blitzing beside Dix.
Satoru: "Once you draw your weapon. You better be prepared to die as well" He whispers.
Dix wasted no time and immediately swung his Spear to Satoru, but he stopped the spear with his foot. Dix uses his hand to strike Satoru, but Satoru was faster and backhanded Dix. A pimp like hit if I must say.
Then Satoru started his Rapid punches at Dix. He gave Dix the Miguel treatment and made sure to hit his pressure points as well. Ending the strikes with a strong kick that also knocks Dix back.
Alise is surprised by Satoru's hand to hand skills. Not only he was fast, but also precise and fluid.
Dix recovered from the ragdoll and immediately takes his stance again. He prepared himself for a charge attack to Satoru. But he saw something that confused him a bit. Satoru swung his finger at him.
Bewildered a bit by this action, He is set to attack, but just then... Out of nowhere, his chest was slashed by an unknown blade and made quite the wound.
He falls down to his knees and used the spear as support. He places his hands at his chest, to see that he's bleeding. He swiftly covered himself so that he wont die of blood lost. He looks at Satoru, who didn't move from his position, but instead turns his back on him and walks towards Kaguya and Alise.
Dix: "Shit... A monster has arrived."
CHAPTER 3
Hi. I know I know. I'm very sorry for the super late update. I blame enrollment and I'm afraid that I am already in college so I must focus on that. But I wont abandon this story because writing is the only thing that turns the scenarios in my head, into reality.
Now, As you all know about the power things in JJK, but i will still mention for those who don't
Everyone in JJK can use their skill without saying the names. But as the Binding Vow of revealing, which makes it stronger. Sometimes people do say the name of their attacks.
Satoru used Dismantle to slash Dix without speaking, just a quick finger sign. and it is usable but as on JJK rules, Not much cursed output on it. It's different if you chant "Dismantle" verbally because it's much more powerful than non-verbal.
You get what I'm going with this.
