Chapter 161: Chapter 161: The Six Styles (Part 1)

"Weapons?" Dragon's words surprised Daniel Davis, but he nodded and responded, "Sure, what kind of weapons do you need, Mr. Dragon?"

"Any kind will do, but I need a large quantity," Dragon continued.

"Okay, but I don't have that many raw materials." Daniel paused before agreeing. Since he encountered Dragon here, things wouldn't be as troublesome. He could learn Haki, the Six Styles, and other techniques directly from Dragon.

He hadn't considered Dragon before because the Revolutionary Army was too far away. Who knew he would run into Dragon so soon? Moreover, as the leader of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon had more credibility compared to the Navy. It's not that people like Sengoku or Garp were untrustworthy, but they were backed by the World Government.

"We can handle the raw materials on our end. By the way, have you thought about joining us?" Dragon extended an invitation to Daniel. To Dragon, Daniel's abilities were crucial for the Revolutionary Army. His direct combat skills might not be outstanding, but his support capabilities were unparalleled.

Whether it's the Navy, Revolutionary Army, or pirates, all need a large number of weapons. Otherwise, Doflamingo's underground arms business wouldn't be so prosperous. Pirate crews like Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates that don't need to buy weapons are very rare.

After all, there are only a handful of top-tier individuals in this world. The majority are ordinary people for whom weapons are very important. Remember, in Luffy's time, one of the eleven supernovas frequently mentioned the overwhelming disparity in military strength, relying on the Castle-Castle Fruit to bring many subordinates into battle.

Even Daniel himself hadn't thought that he would immediately overturn his previous stance of not selling weapons in the Marvel world. The allure was too strong.

However, joining the Revolutionary Army was out of the question. Providing weapons was one thing, but joining them would be too much trouble. He wasn't here to save the world.

"I'll think about it," Daniel said, essentially refusing politely. If he were stronger, he could outright refuse.

"That's fine. When would you be available?" Dragon asked.

"No rush. I'd like to know what the Revolutionary Army offers in return," Daniel responded. This was a business transaction, not charity, so they needed to agree on compensation.

"Of course, it would be at market price, with the cost of raw materials deducted," Dragon explained. Since the Revolutionary Army provided the raw materials, they wouldn't charge for them. If Daniel insisted, he could charge, but it wouldn't be much since raw materials are relatively cheap, and weapons are much more valuable. Due to the Navy and World Government, it's very difficult for the Revolutionary Army to buy weapons; otherwise, Dragon wouldn't have come in person to negotiate.

Dragon was in the East Blue to purchase various supplies for the Revolutionary Army. Compared to the other seas, he was most familiar with the East Blue, his birthplace. Weapons, food, medicine, and more were in short supply for the Revolutionary Army.

"I don't need money right now. I want the training methods for the Navy's Six Styles and Haki. How many weapons would that be worth?" Daniel asked.

Negotiating with Dragon made Daniel realize that starting a company in the pirate world was the best idea. He didn't want to travel the Grand Line like Luffy; instead, he could learn from Doflamingo's methods.

Doflamingo's biggest mistake was using the Hobby-Hobby Fruit to turn citizens into toys, which led to widespread rebellion. If he had captured pirates instead, he wouldn't have faced as much trouble.

As long as I make the people happy, even if King Riku reappears, it won't shake my foundation. The same goes for Orochi in Wano Country. Their biggest mistake was exhausting their resources without considering long-term sustainability.

Of course, you can't blame them entirely. After all, they didn't have Daniel's wisdom from five thousand years of Chinese history.

Daniel's words made Dragon pause. The training methods for the Six Styles and Haki were not that valuable. In the Four Seas and the first half of the Grand Line, they might be rare, but in the New World, they were fairly common. The challenge lies in how well you can master them.

If Daniel joined the Navy, with his abilities, he could easily obtain these techniques and a significant rank.

So, Dragon was unsure how to price them. If he priced them too low, it wouldn't be meaningful; too high, and future cooperation would be difficult.

As for kidnapping Daniel and forcing him to serve the Revolutionary Army, that thought never crossed Dragon's mind. They were revolutionaries, not pirates or the World Government. They united like-minded people, not through coercion.

"The techniques you want are not that rare," Dragon said.

"In that case, how about your personal instruction in addition to the techniques? How many weapons for ten thousand soldiers?" Daniel proposed after some thought.

"No problem," Dragon agreed immediately. If they could get equipment for ten thousand soldiers, the Revolutionary Army's strength would significantly increase.

"I have one condition: I don't want this deal to be leaked. I'll only deal with you." Daniel wanted to avoid the World Government's spies within the Revolutionary Army from discovering this transaction.

"No problem," Dragon nodded.

"Should I provide Jericho missiles, Iron Man suits, various missiles, cannons, tanks, mortars, and other weapons? It's quite exciting to think about," Daniel mused.

Compared to modern weapons, the weapons in the pirate world are too simplistic. Even the Buster Call, which can destroy an island, relies on continuous bombardment with large-caliber cannons.

"Let's start now. By the way, I want to know about the Six Styles and Haki," Daniel asked.

Dragon was taken aback by Daniel's eagerness but began explaining. The Six Styles and Haki are standard techniques in the Navy. Anyone who meets the basic requirements can learn them, but how far they go depends on the individual, much like students in school.

The basic requirements for learning the Six Styles are high. Even mastering one of them can earn you a rank in the Navy. Mastering all of them to a certain extent makes you a general.

In the Navy, mastering the Six Styles is significant, and in CP9, you must master all six to be considered a true member.

Daniel's physical condition already met the requirements to learn the Six Styles.

"This world's training is tough," Daniel remarked. The Six Styles are physical techniques, and their training is grueling. After explaining the basics of the Six Styles and Haki, Dragon left to gather raw materials for the weapons.

They agreed to meet in a month. Dragon needed time to gather materials and transport them to the East Blue. Since Daniel hadn't joined the Revolutionary Army, he wouldn't be going to their base or headquarters.

During this time, Daniel planned to establish a connection with a dimensional space, allowing him to escape if necessary.

"Logia Devil Fruits indeed don't mesh well with physical techniques," Daniel observed. In Loguetown, he watched Captain Smoker use his Smoke-Smoke Fruit to capture pirates. Despite his rank, Smoker never used the Six Styles in combat, relying solely on his Devil Fruit abilities.

With Dragon's guidance, Daniel's strength improved rapidly. Partly because his initial physical condition was already good but also due to the nourishment from Sea Kings' meat.

Loguetown was close to the Calm Belt. Knowing the benefits of Sea Kings' meat, Daniel ventured there and used his Ope-Ope Fruit to secure a substantial supply.

"Finally done. Time to act," Daniel said, having established a connection with the dimensional space. He sold his shop in Loguetown and set off for Cocoyasi Village.

Cocoyasi Village, the Arlong Pirates, and Nami.

According to the original timeline, Nami would meet Luffy in about three years, meaning she'd suffer for three more years. Since Daniel was in this world and had the power, he would deal with the Arlong Pirates.

Daniel had long forgotten the island where Nami was born but had pinpointed the Arlong Pirates' location. If it weren't for establishing the dimensional space, he would have dealt with them already.

"To think Jinbei supports the Arlong Pirates' arrogance in the East Blue, only to end up on Luffy's ship as Nami's companion," Daniel thought, flying on a broom with a Disillusionment Charm.

The Arlong Park below was luxurious. "Should I attack head-on or sneak attack?" Daniel mused.

The Fish-Man race is physically superior to humans in strength and lifespan. Yet, they never produced a Four Emperors-level powerhouse. If they had, their situation would be much better.

"Let's go with a sneak attack. I haven't mastered all the Six Styles yet," Daniel decided.

Using dimensional magic and the Ope-Ope Fruit, dealing with the Arlong Pirates, who lacked Armament Haki, was simple.

"Room: Slaughterhouse." A golden portal opened behind Arlong. Daniel stepped through, activating the Ope-Ope Fruit and slashing Arlong into six pieces.

"Brother Arlong!" Seeing their leader seemingly dismembered, Hatchan, an octopus Fish-Man, charged with six swords.

"Room." Hatchan was quickly dismembered. Next, Kuroobi, Chew, and other Fish-Men fell to Daniel's powers.

The Arlong Pirates, who gave Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji a hard fight, were easily defeated by Daniel. That's the power of Devil Fruits.

Had Daniel fought head-on, he might not have succeeded against the Fish-Men.

Of course, if he wanted to annihilate the Arlong Pirates, he could drop a missile from above, wiping them out instantly.

"Fast escape," Daniel noted as the Arlong Pirates' pet fled. Its speed was impressive.

"What do you want?" Arlong,

his head separated, yelled as his crew suffered the same fate.

"What do I want? I'm here to kill you all. Do you think you can act so arrogantly on human land?" Daniel said, shooting webbing to seal Arlong's mouth. Furious, Arlong bit through the webbing with his sharp teeth.

"Impressive teeth for a sawshark Fish-Man. How about this?" Daniel shot more webbing, finally silencing Arlong.

"Shut up, all of you." Daniel sealed the mouths of the other Fish-Men.

"Hatchan, Rayleigh? No matter," Daniel decided, looking at Hatchan's head. He wasn't Luffy and had no intention of turning enemies into friends.

Regarding Rayleigh, Daniel wasn't a match now but would be in the future.

"Quite a treasure," Daniel remarked, looting gold, jewels, and a large amount of Berries from Arlong Park.

Clap.

After gathering the loot, Daniel stood at the entrance of Arlong Park, clasped his hands, and pressed them to the ground, activating earth alchemy.

Chapter 162: Chapter 162: The Six Styles (Part 2)

Boom.

As the earth alchemy activated, the entire Arlong Park immediately began to collapse. The loud rumbling and the violent shaking of the ground alerted the people of Cocoyasi Village, which was not far from Arlong Park.

The villagers, who were working hard around the village, all looked in the direction of Arlong Park upon hearing the noise. Kensuke, the village sheriff, looked toward Arlong Park, hesitated for a moment, and then picked up a pitchfork and started walking towards it.

"Kensuke-san." A blue-haired girl, looking about sixteen or seventeen, chased after him with a stick in her hand, followed by several adults armed with various weapons.

"What are you all doing here? Go back."

"For Nami, I have to go and see," the blue-haired girl said determinedly.

"Nojiko is right. No matter what happens, we should face it together. At worst, it's just death. We've already burdened Nami for too long," one of the adults said.

The villagers of Cocoyasi Village were quite remarkable, with none harboring thoughts of betrayal. If it weren't for Nami's plea for them to endure, they might have already fought the Arlong Pirates, even if they couldn't win.

"Alright, let's go together then." Kensuke nodded heavily after considering for a moment. As they moved toward Arlong Park, more villagers joined them.

Daniel Davis' sudden action triggered the long-suppressed anger of the villagers of Cocoyasi Village.

"Arlong Park has disappeared." As they approached the site of the Arlong Pirates, they found that the once grand Arlong Park was now nowhere to be seen.

Seeing this, the group quickened their pace, rushing forward. At the remains of Arlong Park's entrance, they saw a figure standing there—Daniel Davis, with several large boxes of treasure beside him and a pile of food on the other side.

"Who are you?" Kensuke asked, stepping forward and blocking the others.

"Just a passerby," Daniel replied calmly.

"What happened to the Arlong Pirates?" Kensuke asked, looking at the ruins of Arlong Park.

"You mean the pirates here? I killed them all," Daniel said. The reason he stayed after defeating the Arlong Pirates was to win Nami's favor, hoping to recruit her in the future. As for Luffy's future crew, that wasn't his concern anymore. Before arriving in this world, Daniel had liked Luffy and Ace, but after coming here, his feelings toward them had diminished significantly.

Since coming to the East Blue, he hadn't even considered visiting Windmill Village to see the current Luffy, let alone joining the future Straw Hat Pirates. Strictly speaking, Luffy was quite reckless, constantly challenging powerful opponents despite his lack of strength, nearly getting his crew killed multiple times.

Crocodile, Enel, CP9, and Moria—each battle could have led to the Straw Hats' annihilation if not for sheer luck or timely interventions. It would be better for Nami to be with him, where he could ensure her safety, rather than enduring hardships with Luffy.

"No Nami, Luffy's journey might be much tougher." In the world of pirates, navigators are crucial despite their usually lower combat abilities. Without a skilled navigator, sailing the Grand Line is perilous.

The Grand Line's greatest danger isn't the Sea Kings but its ever-changing natural environments. Nami's navigational talent is top-notch in this world, a talent even the Golden Lion coveted. If she had been with the Flying Pirates, the battle against Roger might have had a different outcome.

"But I'm overthinking it. There are other navigators besides Nami. Even if they aren't as talented, they'll do." This thought reassured Daniel, making him stay to win Nami's favor. Otherwise, he could have left quietly.

As for the potential backlash from defeating the Arlong Pirates, such as offending Jinbei or Rayleigh, Daniel wasn't worried. First, they might not trouble him over this, and second, he could hide with the Revolutionary Army if needed. In time, he wouldn't need to fear them.

"The Arlong Pirates are all dead!" The villagers of Cocoyasi Village, after a moment of stunned silence, began to cheer, throwing their weapons aside and shouting joyfully.

Nojiko, tears streaming down her face, had been holding up a facade of strength for Nami's sake. Now, the burden was lifted, and she could finally show her emotions.

Daniel was warmly invited to the village. Taking the opportunity, he gave them the treasure and food, letting them handle it. Initially, the villagers refused, but after Daniel assured them it wasn't just for their village, they accepted. Cocoyasi Village, despite its hardships, wasn't the worst off, thanks to Nami's efforts. However, other villages suffered more under Arlong's rule.

"These resources should be distributed to those in greater need," Daniel thought, leaving the distribution to the villagers. He wasn't a savior; he could only help a limited number of people.

"Nami will be so happy when she returns. She won't have to suffer anymore," the villagers said, elated. They held a feast with the food Daniel provided.

To gather the 100 million Berries Arlong demanded, Nami had been tirelessly stealing from pirates, earning the nickname "Cat Burglar." But for Nami, reaching 100 million Berries was a monumental task, a mere dream.

Her love for money stemmed from these hardships, and she took charge of the Straw Hat Pirates' finances. Yet, she could also be selfless, as shown on Sabaody Archipelago when she was willing to give up all their money to save a mermaid.

"Seems like I won't see Nami this time." Nami's whereabouts were unknown, even to Nojiko. Daniel couldn't wait indefinitely, so after a day in Cocoyasi Village, he left.

Boom.

Near the Calm Belt, on an uninhabited island about a kilometer in diameter, Daniel shattered a boulder over two meters in diameter with a kick. After leaving Cocoyasi Village, he found this island to train, focusing on the Six Styles techniques, especially Shave and Tempest Kick.

In the Six Styles, Shave, Moonwalk, and Tempest Kick are primarily leg techniques. Daniel planned to master these first before moving on to Iron Body, Paper Art, and Finger Pistol.

To Daniel, Moonwalk was the best technique, especially in this ocean-centric world. Initially, he chose a larger island within the Calm Belt for training, but the creatures there were too powerful. With his current strength, he couldn't defeat them using just physical techniques. If not for his ability to Apparate, he might have been in serious trouble.

Although he could clear the island using the Ope-Ope Fruit and dimensional magic, it wouldn't serve his purpose of training physical techniques. So, he found this smaller island near the Calm Belt to train, occasionally venturing to the larger island to fight its creatures.

In a way, his training mirrored Luffy's original training. The main difference was that he had no mentor like Rayleigh or a strong guide like Zoro did.

"Luffy's body is remarkable. He could replicate Shave using Gear Second after just seeing it, surpassing most of CP9 in speed."

"Shave." Daniel shouted, his figure disappearing and reappearing twenty meters away. He repeated this six times before stopping, panting heavily.

"With my current physical condition, I can only use Shave six times consecutively. I'm far from being able to use it infinitely."

Clap, clap, clap.

As Daniel pondered this, he heard applause. Turning, he saw Dragon clapping, accompanied by a giant about six or seven meters tall, holding a book in his right hand—Bartholomew Kuma, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

"Bringing a Warlord along, Dragon is really confident," Daniel thought, walking towards Dragon.

"Are you ready?" Dragon's presence meant everything was prepared on his end.

"Yes, I'm ready anytime," Daniel replied.

"Let's go then. Kuma, if you please," Dragon said, looking at Kuma, who nodded and raised his left hand. In an instant, they appeared on a different island.

"The Paw-Paw Fruit's ability is truly powerful," Daniel noted, recognizing Kuma's power. Thinking about Kuma's future, Daniel couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

"This is an island in the Calm Belt. Dragon is cautious," Daniel observed, noticing a giant Sea King in the distance.

Nearby, there were several piles of raw materials—iron blocks, iron ore, various broken swords and guns, and gunpowder, all arranged in piles. Underneath the piles were pre-drawn transmutation circles.

For large-scale transmutations, having transmutation circles makes a significant difference. Even someone as powerful as the Dwarf in the Flask needed a national transmutation circle to perform large-scale alchemy.

Dragon had already explained the weapon transmutation process to Daniel over the phone, resulting in these pre-drawn circles. Revealing the transmutation circles wasn't an issue for Daniel; no one else in this world could activate them.

"Let's begin." Daniel clapped his hands and placed them on the ground. The raw materials glowed with a strange light, transforming into swords, spears, and other cold weapons.

Repeating the process, this time he created firearms, mainly the Navy's standard weapons. Daniel considered making the legendary AK-47 but decided to leave it for another time.

Besides firearms, he also transmuted numerous naval cannons. Cannons were formidable in this world, as the Buster Call relied on cannon fire.

The gunpowder was transmuted into a large supply of ammunition.

Kuma watched the transmutation with a look of

surprise. Devil Fruits had myriad powers, but this was the first time he had seen one like this.

Dragon and Kuma assumed Daniel's powers came from a Devil Fruit, which Daniel didn't correct. Any future abilities could be attributed to his "Alchemy Fruit," even teleportation.

Seeing the multitude of weapons, Dragon's normally calm demeanor showed a hint of excitement in his eyes.

"Thank you." Dragon nodded at Kuma, who then moved towards the weapons. Kuma's left hand created an invisible barrier, compressing the air around the weapons into a large protective bubble. A moment later, Kuma touched the bubble, sending the weapons flying away.

"Such a convenient ability," Daniel thought, watching Kuma repeat the process until all the weapons were sent away. Even with his Ope-Ope Fruit and dimensional magic, Daniel couldn't help but feel envious.

With all the weapons sent off, Kuma nodded to Dragon and then vanished.

"The next batch of materials will take some time. As per our agreement, I'll train you, but are you ready for the hardship?" Dragon asked, not leaving.

"Of course, no problem." Being trained by a Four Emperors-level character, especially one with a background in the Navy, was an opportunity Daniel couldn't pass up.
