"Let me show you what being a pirate really means!"
No one expected the young man, who seemed so harmless and refined, to suddenly launch an attack!
"Oh no!"
The nearest person to Carlo suddenly felt a powerful aura locking onto him, making escape impossible. His face turned pale...
Before he could even take a step back, Carlo's fist connected with his throat.
With one simple punch, the pirate was sent flying like a broken kite, rolling his eyes back as he died instantly!
"Trash is trash. If you don't even dare to fight, why call yourselves pirates?"
Caro didn't even glance at the fallen pirate, his eyes filled with disdain as he looked around at the stunned crowd.
"Bastard!"
"He's too arrogant! Let's take him down together and kill this cocky brat!"
"Newcomer or not, hitting us like that means he's trouble. Let's kill him!"
Under the rallying cry of a bald man, several pirates shouted in agreement.
But even as they talked big, they kept a safe distance from Carlo. No one dared to be the first to attack.
Nobody wanted to be the first to die. They were all too afraid.
"You're just proving my point. What a waste of my time!"
Carlo sneered and charged at the surrounding pirates.
In less than a minute, only Carlo and Blackbeard were left standing at the port.
The rest of the pirates lay at their feet, completely defeated.
With a few quick moves, Carlo had taken them all down without breaking a sweat.
"Well done, Carlo! These losers weren't the ones we're looking for. Killing them is just fine, zehahaha!"
"That's how a pirate should be!"
As Carlo finished, Blackbeard laughed heartily, walking up from behind.
Carlo's ruthless style suited him perfectly!
Compared to six years ago, when he visited this place with Whitebeard, this was way more satisfying!
Back then, even in this lawless place, Whitebeard had set a bunch of restrictive rules.
No excessive actions, no going too far…
Though Blackbeard had been just a small crew member, following orders from the captain and officers, he always scoffed at Whitebeard's ways!
Being a pirate with so many rules was stifling!
If you're going to follow rules, why not just stay home and be a good citizen?
But Carlo's approach was just what Blackbeard liked.
In his view, being a pirate meant being free and lawless!
If some small fry showed hostility, why not kill them? They weren't the ones they were looking for anyway.
Carlo and Blackbeard continued toward the town in the island's center.
Along the way, they encountered many pirates—some picking pockets, some fighting, some getting killed by the very girls they tried to harass…

"This really is a pirate's 'paradise'! Only pirates could thrive in a place like this..."

Seeing the rampant violence around, Blackbeard felt right at home, embodying the pirate spirit like no one else!
Watching this, Carlo couldn't help but think Blackbeard was born to be a pirate!
But Carlo seemed to forget, he had just caused chaos at the port himself. Was he any less of a pirate than Blackbeard?
As they walked, many pirates eyed them, and some even tried to rob them.
However, they picked the wrong targets. Everyone who attacked them was quickly killed.
Even those who didn't attack but were eyeing them suspiciously didn't escape. Thanks to Blackbeard's observation haki, they were all taken down!
On their way, Caro and Blackbeard had killed countless pirates!
Before reaching the central area, their names were already known to many pirate factions on the island.
Several factions were now interested in these two newcomers…
The reason was simple: Carlo and Blackbeard were too ruthless. They had killed over a hundred pirates right after landing!
Most were taken out with a single strike. Even Devil Fruit users, though their powers were minor, were rare and valuable in the first half of the Grand Line.
Only the Seven Warlords and the Navy had plenty of such powers.
But these pirates were just scattered outlaws, not everyone had special abilities.
Killing Devil Fruit users so easily showed their formidable strength, alerting many pirate groups on the island…
Even the long-established factions were uneasy about these newcomers.
They were too strong!
So, almost half the island's pirates, upon learning that Carlo and Blackbeard were heading to the central town, immediately set off in that direction!
Of course, these spies were deliberately allowed to be let go by Blackbeard.
Otherwise, under his observation, none of them would have escaped.
Their purpose was to cause a sensation. They wanted everyone to know they had arrived!
And creating a stir was exactly what they did, announcing their presence to the entire pirate paradise.
