Chapter 2: The Path Forward

In this abyss, Dante stood before the love of his life.
The goddess of Darkness and Life, Freya Valmore.
Her entire being was now covered in an endless cloak of shadows. But these shadows gave off a strange feeling of overpowering life and vitality.
Fed with the endless energy of a trillion damned souls.
Freya's face soon became visible to Dante.
Her face was perfect as if it inspired the creation of the universe itself. Freya's long purple hair cascaded down her back. While her deep ocean blue eyes stared at the man before her.
Dante, still covered in his midnight black armor, looked at Freya saying,
"Freya, you're still alive? I had a feeling that we would meet again. But to think that you are actually a god, that does surprise me. But not by much."
With a bit of humor in his voice, the helmet of Dante King vanished from his face.
Revealing the face of a man that time seems to have forgotten with his deeply masculine voice. Slight five o'clock beard shadow on his face.
Dante stood proud in the void with his long back hair that flew wildly behind him. While his deep green eyes seemed to glow with the damnation of countless suffering souls.
An age could go by while these two stare at each other without saying anything.
Freya smiled then said,
"I died in that wretched world, but Dante, that was only my mortal avatar. For my physical body to descend onto a mortal world is almost impossible. But not anymore with your vengeance on my behalf I've harvested enough life to complete my ascension. Now we can stand together forever like I promised you all of those years ago."
Dante had a look of amusement on his face. As his eyes glowed an even brighter shade of green. It seemed that even a joke from this man can condemn countless people to death.
"So what would you like to do, Freya? Would you perhaps like to retire and travel the endless worlds of creation with me? Perhaps we could find something interesting to take up our time."
Freya smiled at this statement and then looked off into the void. Seeing countless worlds and possibilities ready to explore.
"Very well, Dante. I think that retirement would not be a bad idea, at least for now."
And so two beings that killed countless people with their vast power decided to travel the infinite void together.
Freya took the lead in finding them a place to go. She looked at the endless possibilities and decided on one particular world to start their travels with.
"My love, I've found it, the world that we can travel to first. It will be quite fun to learn about The Wizarding World."
With this statement, Freya Valmore injected a vast amount of knowledge about this world into the mind of her lover Dante King.
"Ha Ha, to confine such a war to only one small island, what an amateur in the art of war."
Freya nodded in agreement.
"Indeed, this Lord Voldemort is indeed an amateur. But we are retired, so let's not destroy the destiny of this world. It's the things happening in the background that are of more interest to me."
Then, in front of them, a tear in the void appeared. They both traveled through it.
