Arriving at the first floor, whispers and rustling sounds broke the former stillness of the living room.

Haruka Yuzan stood at the top of the stairs, listening intently, the noise emanated from the kitchen. He then glanced towards the entrance area at the shoes.

"Have Shimizu and Sister Reiko come back?"

He muttered to himself, then proceeded towards the kitchen.

As he got closer, the sounds within the kitchen grew clearer, including the "burble" of something simmering, and Reiko Onodera and Chiba Shimizu chatting casually.

"Sister Reiko, what do you think about Haruka Yuzan as a person?" Chiba Shimizu inquired.

Reiko Onodera's response was swift, as if the answer had long been formed in her heart, "Mr. Haruka, he's a gentle and kind person."

As she spoke, Reiko Onodera even reached to touch her somewhat burning cheek.

"Then Sister Reiko, haven't you considered finding a new father for Rika?" Chiba Shimizu continued to probe.
