A Spectre, shaped like a four-legged behemoth but with a head of twisted tentacles, was ten meters long and over five meters high, rampaging through the ranks. Its head continuously shot out tentacles, and anyone hit by them, dead or alive, astonishingly got up trembling, then turned their guns on their surroundings in a frenzy, causing heavy casualties and injuries within the military formation.
Another Spectre was even more grotesque, resembling a shapeless blob of flesh that flowed like liquid. Bullets seemed virtually ineffective against it; only explosions could marginally harm it. Any human touched by it was immediately torn into its body and instantaneously digested, leaving not even a trace of bone. The Spectre itself had no fixed shape, spreading out over two to three hundred square meters on the ground. All soldiers within its range immediately dissolved into agonized screams...
