‘‘What did your mom tell you?’’ Cheol inquired, breaking the eerie calm that had descended after I had shut the door and rested my back against it, my eyes closed.
In response to his question, I stiffened and my eyes sprang open, leveling yet another look in his direction as I blinked them. ‘‘That has absolutely nothing to do with you’’ I snarled, my voice cold. ‘‘It’s time for you to leave anyway. You've done enough damage to my mental well-being to last a lifetime. I hope you're happy with the outcome of your decision.’’
‘‘Princess…’’
‘‘I've had enough of talking to you, Cheol. Please leave now…’’ I walked towards the window and opened it for him. ‘‘Go!’’
Much to my surprise, he burst out laughing, throwing his head back. ‘‘Are you kidding me? You're sending me out of your room through the window?’’ He chuckled and shook his head at the same time. ‘‘I'm not going to use that to go out…’’
