‘‘I'm going to pick you up later…’’ It was a Monday morning, and as Cheol had previously informed me, he would be driving me to school. He pulled his car up in front of the school building and leaned in to remove my seatbelt. ‘‘Wait for me, okay?’’

‘‘Okay…’’ I nodded. ‘‘Thank you for taking the time to drive me here...’’ I grinned as I turned to exit his vehicle, but he stopped me by gripping my wrist. ‘‘What?’’

‘‘There's something you're forgetting...’’ I blushed as he pointed to his right cheek, indicating that he was requesting me to kiss him.

The beat of my pulse was racing, and I swallowed as I leaned in and was about to kiss him on the cheek when he turned to face me, and I ended up pecking his lips instead. As I reddened even more, I smacked him in the arm playfully, which made him chuckle.
