KELLY'S POV

Cheol was six years older than me, which means he was twenty-five years old by now. He didn't seem to have changed all that much. He had matured a little as a result of the two years that had been added to his age.

The tall, handsome and attractive man with green eyes, and with a musk perfume scent that clung to him like a second skin had returned, but I was saddened by the fact that he’s already married. Why did he even come back? Did he bring his wife with him here in Canberra?

I wasn’t sure how I managed to keep from throwing myself on him and hugging him, as I used to do before. Maybe, because I wasn’t the same teenager who had a crush on him and the girl who tried to seduce him. I wanted to believe that I had changed. That my feelings for him had faded away.

Or it's possible that I was still carrying around the pain and hurt I felt when he left me without telling me the reason why, without even saying goodbye.
