KELLY’s POV
I reached the front door, turning the knob with a hesitant hand. I turned around to see Cheol again, and he was still there, his car still parked nearby, watching me. For the last time, I waved goodbye to him and he nodded before finally walking through the door and into the house.
“Princess…” As I came through the door, the sound of my father's voice could be heard. He walked in from the living room, a smile plastered on his face as he gathered me in a hug.
I felt my body relax as I wrapped my arms around him, burying my face in his chest, with a long sigh.
“How’s your day with Cheol?” dad asked, pulling away to hold me at arm’s length.
I hesitated for a moment, feeling guilty for the entire situation. I had to lie, I realized. “It was okay,” I said unsurely.
“Just okay?” dad asked jokingly, one eyebrow raised.
