STELLA’s POV

My mind was spinning and my heart stopped beating when I heard Maxine’s confession. Couldn’t she see that I was with Tyler now? Why did she want to get Tyler back when it’s clear that he was now in a relationship with me?

I was stunned and my eyes widened when Maxine suddenly dropped the box of cookies on the ground and pulled Tyler into a kiss.

I expected Tyler to push her away but he didn’t even move. My heart beat like a drum in my chest as I watched them kiss in front of me. My entire body was shaking and the tears pooled in my eyes as I stared at Tyler who even closed his eyes at the kiss.

I saw how Maxine’s lips curved into a smile and that’s when I lost it.
