“Cheol, my brother.” And I cried again. “Please help my brother.”

“Brother?” he asked, didn’t have any idea that I have a stepbrother.

I nodded. “He needed surgery for his heart. I have money, Cheol. Please help my brother.”

“Sshhh… Okay, okay. We will take care of him. You have to rest for now, and get well soon so you can visit your brother.”

I stared into his eyes and nodded once. “I trust you, Cheol.”

“Of course.” He smiled.

“Now, how about something for the fever and pain?” Dr. Kim interrupted, reaching for a bottle of tablets.

He tipped an orange bottle and pulled a little white tablet out. He passed it to Cheol who grabbed the glass of water and handed it to me.

He held the tablet up to my mouth. I blushed and opened up enough for him to pop it in then I swallowed it down with water. “Thank you,”
